Releases Federico Monachesi – This Is Not Happening [Soundteller Records] By Release Promo Posted on 3rd September 2017 0 second read 0 0 Share on Facebook Share on Twitter Share on Reddit Share on Linkedin Federico Monachesi returns to Deersky's Soundteller Records this week with a brand new single entitled 'This Is Not Happened'. The Argentinean artist is fresh off an excellent remix of Erich Von Kollar for Stellar Fountain released in late August. Long noted for his clean, detailed productions Federico now makes a much anticipated return to Soundteller with a new single alongside remixes from Kamilo Sanclemente & Golan Zocher, Monojoke and Paul Kardos. The original mix is another excellent example of Federico's pristine production quality. Incredibly spacious, all the elements seem to sit perfectly in the mix, from a meaty, rolling groove to waves of vibrant percussion. When you've got a framework this good the simplest elements tend to sound monstrous and that's the case with the arp and shifting atmospheres here. Nothing gets lost in the mix and the gaseous effects which spiral throughout the break are a nice, subtle touch which adds drama and tension. A pure progressive lover's dream. As you would expect from Soundteller the remixer selection is on point with two of the freshest names in Kamilo Sanclemente & Golan Zocher along with much loved veteran Monojoke and the hugely up and coming Paul Kardos. First up Kamilo Sanclemente & Golan Zocher continue to amaze with a perfect dance floor minded storyboard. From groovy, atmospheric beginnings comes heavy synth decay into a break which not only brings electric vibes but serves as the perfect setup to a drop which really packs some punch. This is the progressive sound of now and sure to be a staple in many DJ sets over the coming months. Next up scene veteran Monojoke makes his fifth appearance on the label. 2017 has been filled with quality productions for the Polish artist. His collaborations with Tuxedo (as Fluente) have found their way onto Knee Deep In Sound and Sudbeat while solo efforts for Balkan Connection and Sound Avenue have been similarly excellent. Never one to hold back Monojoke goes big on his 'This Is Not Happening' interpretation. Sitting at the foundation is a sequence of mammoth bass stabs which carve out a deadly groove. As with all Monojoke tracks it’s how all the motifs and effects come together for a melodious wall of beautiful noise. Distinctive however are the electric stabs which are not only dynamic but a touch emotive, particularly coming out of a spiralling, atmospheric break. Massive remix from Monojoke and one of his biggest this year I would say. The release concludes with Paul Kardos returning to the label for his third appearance. The Argentinean artist made his debut on the Polish imprint in March of 2016 with his 'The Border of the Existence' EP. Having since showcased his music on Movement Recordings and Perspectives Digital it's safe to say Paul is building a great discography. His 'This Is Not Happening' interpretation drops the tempo just a touch for something a bit deeper and groovier. The design is rough, rugged and full of great character with growling bass tones and indistinct vocals perhaps standing out the most. As the break commences the vocals do play a big part in the narrative, flowing through an unconventional storyboard, meshing with twinkly keys and synth swells for a grandiose moment. A lovely remix from Paul which caps off another all round excellent offering from Deersky's Soundteller Records.
