The latest release on Madloch's Sound Avenue imprint finds the label presenting the second installment of it's 'Correlation' series. Released in August of 2017, the inaugural edition featured a unique blend of untapped talent along with industry veterans, resulting in a cohesive fusion of artists from across the world. The label's borderless music policy was also represented, showcasing a wide spectrum of electronica, from house to techno and deeper progressive grooves. Now after months of carefully curating submissions, Sound Avenue unveils the second installment of 'Correlation', featuring (in order of appearance) Naethan, Lerr, Dowden, Gabriel Nery, TD, Monojoke, Khetouin, Jeff Eveline, Apste and Pedro Sanmartin.

Beginning in Belgium, it's the hypnotizing sounds of Naethan's 'Oblivion' which sets the tone for the collection. The Beringen resident crafts a deep yet electric creation with effervescent musical qualities and a smooth buzzing tension. Next up Lerr makes his Sound Avenue debut following a strong remix for label subsidiary 3rd Avenue. Also laying claim to releases on Exotic Refreshment and RYNTH, the Montenegrin artist now presents his latest studio creation 'Hummingbird'. Tantalizing tones weave their way through a maze of organic drums before coming to full fruition during a tastefully poignant main break and groovy finale. The energy then shifts skyward with Canadian artist Dowden who also makes his label debut. Previously known as Onez!e, the Toronto resident has settled into his Dowden alias quite nicely with appearances on John 00 Fleming's JOOF Recordings and Dream Culture. Dowden's 'Correlation' contribution comes in the form of the peak time opus 'Karma'. Percussive and brooding, the piece moves through mystical motifs and chunky grooves, before a well timed break melds icy atmospheres and melodic clusters that are sure to command the full attention of your dance floor. Upon beginning his career on Dopamine Music in 2018, Gabriel Nery has been having a great second campaign with standout releases on Clubsonica Records and MNL. The Argentinean artist and Hernan Cattaneo fave now debuts on Sound Avenue with 'The Red Room'. Dubbed out tones and drifting atmospheres combine with a chunky, percussive groove making this a perfect piece for early or late night play. The collection's fifth selection sees TD also making his label debut. Tomas Dahl aka TD hails from Oslo, Norway and boasts an impressive discography highlighted by releases on ICONYC and Manual Music. Known for incorporating his own vocals into his work, he does so to great effect once again on 'Rat Lips'. Smooth, mysterious and a touch ethereal, it's a collage of redolent rhythms, swirling atmospherics and enchanting vocal fragments which highlight this meditative gem.

The collection's halfway point is marked by the return of Monojoke to the label. The Polish artist first appeared on Sound Avenue with a contribution to the the first installment of 'Correlation'. Also earning a place on ICONYC, Movement Recordings and Soundteller Records, Monojoke now returns to Sound Avenue with 'The Muted Beast'. Known for his melodic prowess, the Cracow resident crafts a subtle yet powerful progressive number, complete with electric lines, buzzing modulation and a euphoric theme which springs to life during the main break. Next up is Khetouin who first came to prominence when he was selected as one of the winner's in 3rd Avenue's Choon Remix contest. Now debuting on Sound Avenue he presents his most anticipated work to date 'Robot Meditation'. Deep, enchanting and oh so inviting, it's smooth rhythmic core and running vocal narrative allows for a strummy theme and poignant tones to capture your imagination across a wondrous ten minute journey. Hailing from Los Angeles, Jeff Eveline also makes his label debut with 'Crashes In Love'. With an April release on Glitter Cowboy, the US artist continues to impress here with a deep, spacious production that delivers on several levels. A gorgeous vocal highlights the piece, perfectly processed for maximum emotional response, as delicate piano keys and buzzing stabs provide the necessary complement to what is a stunning narrative. As the collection begins to wind down we see yet another label debut from Apste. Hailing from the electronic music hotbed of Buenos Aires, Alfio Sotera aka Apste has just two previous discography credits, remix projects for Camel Music and Siestamusic Digital. Now unveiling his first original production, Apste debuts on Sound Avenue with '200 MG of Love'. Deep and introspective, it's meadoring melancholia, percussive cadence and shifty rhythmic core make for a laid back, ultra groovy production that's perfectly dialled for the early or late hours. Rounding out the collection is yet another label debut from one Pedro Sanmartin. Having spent time in Germany and Norway, Pedro now calls Barcelona, Spain home. Releases on Pablo Bolivar's Seven Villas and Madloch's Crossfade Sounds highlight his discography and it's that uniquely organic sound which also fits nicely into Sound Avenue's music policy. 'Themis' proves to be quite compelling through it's intricate detail and introspective themes. Acidic and groovy, it's effervescent stabs and rising atmospherics add nicely to it's sultry rhythmic core, while esoteric electronics further saturate your senses. A heady production from Pedro which caps off a unique, diverse and wildly creative collection of music from Sound Avenue, making the 'Correlation' series one of the most exciting exclusive long players of the moment.
