PREMIERE: Khen – Authentica (Luca Bacchetti’s Endless Remix) [Lost & Found]

Luca Bacchetti: "It was during a Lost & Found party at Paradigm Festival in netherlands last year, I was about to play, the vibe was just fantastic and I went on the dance-floor to taste the sound system, in that moment Khen dropped the song! Wow!! The day after Guy J asked me about a possible remix for L&F and I've had no doubts! Working on it I’ve decided to keep the original melody which was the first thing I falled in love with, after that I’ve tailored the new dress and structure trying to re-locate the song at pick time."

One of Dancing Astronaut’s artists to watch in 2017 and the man behind one of the most impressive debuts of 2016, Beatport #1 album ‘One Day of Independence’ on Guy J’s Lost & Found, returns to home ground. This time in the shape of a total of 5 stupendous remixes by some of electronic music’s most intriguing and brightest shining stars.

Diynamic’s Lehar, microCastle’s Luca Bachetti, Anjundadeep’s Patrice Baumel, Kompakt’s Termoment and Lost & Found head honcho Guy J have each reinterpreted their favourite off Khen’s future classic debut.

Starting off the sonic voyage is Luca Bachetti’s groovish take on ‘Authentica’ Adding to the recognisable lead melody, he gives the track an almost cinematic and atmospheric treatment that leaves you longing for more.

‘Imaginal Cells’ has been repurposed by the label boss himself into what can most succinctly be described as behemoth of melodic goodness. With trippy FX details and a serene breakdown, this remix is set for greatness as a future Guy J classic.

Essential New Tune recipient Patrice Baumel attempts to repeat recent hit with his Cubicolor remix by taking on ‘Land of Goshen’. Taking the track to a more driving and pumping direction with a nod to 90s classic Trance, this track will cause a stir in sets at dusk as well as dawn.

A trippy vibe with hints of old school Acid and an uncanny detailed soundscape that will leave you in awe at the next after party it’s played just when the sun starts to rise. This is enigmatic pseudonym Termoment’s take on ‘One Day of Independence’.

Last but certainly not least and capping off a cohesive yet musically diverse remix EP is Diyanamic mainstay Lehar.

His take on the Khen and Guy J collabo ‘Prism’ turns the intensity of the original down in a very sophisticated way and takes the track to deeper waters. With an infectious melody that marries the familiar underlying key elements of the original in perfect symbiosis, it provides a dreamy textbook ending to this EP
