Moonwalk – Aries [Stil Vor Talent]

Fellow Italian duo and label habitués Moonwalk are back on Stil vor Talent with a two-track revenge of an EP, "Dune", right on cue for late summer festival action. Walking in the footsteps of their latest release on the label, "Different People", Dario Vizioli and Mauro Morabito turn up with a pair of cuts built for a mix of big-room rumble and spaced-out escapism, ready to sweep over the dancefloor with an all-engulfing deluge of cosmic brainwaves and Italo-influenced glissandos that keep on cranking the heat up a notch with every bar.

Charging first, the electrifying title-track "Dune" flings us into orbit through a compelling train-like crescendo primed for large arenas and peak-time momentums. Synth-fuelled poetics blazing and entangling along powerhouse bass leads, the track cavalcades straight onto otherworldly horizons, fierce and burning with an untamed fire. The zodiac-inspired "Aries" heads for a different destination with its jacking prog and intricate construction, trading Dune's linear ride for a further jagged, breaks-friendly trip into alien territories. True to their signature hybrid touch, Moonwalk deftly swings the pendulum between no-nonsense banging assets and a certain taste for steering ravers into altered states of consciousness.
