Ahead of the full Karol XVII & MB Valence remix album arriving later in the year, Get Physical Music is back with a second selection taken from it. Guy J and Compuphonic provide fresh new versions while the remixes from Jackspeare and Karol XVII & MB Valence are from the vaults.

Guy J has been at the forefront of the prog house scene for decades. The Lost & Found label head is a master of melody and shows that here with his take on 'Waterfall Drops.' It's a slow-burning gem with diffused pads and twinkling melodies that captivate the head as well as the heel. Compuphonic is Maxime Firket and someone who has an expansive sound and has produced several underground hits on labels like Exploited. His take on 'Sonus & Bang Bang' is brilliantly lush, harmonic and soft focus, with distant steel drums and shimmering melodies bringing sophisticated sound to the grooves.

Karol XVII & MB Valence's 'The Last Update Mix' of 'Waterfall Drops' is one with loose, jangling chords and drums. It's light and airy with a dubby low end full of warmth. Label regular Jackspeare closes out with a spine-tingling deep house rework with cute melodic hooks and sombre chords over a persuasive beat.
