K Loveski – WonderLAN [Stellar Fountain]

K Loveski readies new single for Stellar Fountain alongside remixes from Eli Spiral and Greenage. The Russian artist has had a tremendous year with his 'Broh Canville' (in collaboration with Ewan Rill) being the highlight, earning live and soundcloud set support from the one and only Guy J. Now making his Stellar Fountain debut, K Loveski presents a brand new solo single 'WonderLAN'.

Progressive music has been in a great place for some time and this is another example of why. The genre is still producing creative, danceable and mentally satisfying tracks. WonderLAN's low slung groove is spacious and swing heavy, making it incredibly rhythmic and perfectly dialled into the trippy, astral qualities which surround it. A vocal narrative adds intrigue during the break, which does up tension just a touch, through haunting overlays and a modest roll which segues nicely into a groovy finale.

First up on the remixes is Eli Spiral who returns to the label following his 'Whirling Nights / Dragonfly' EP from March of last year. Now fresh off releases for Mistique Music and Addictive Sounds the US artist returns to Stellar Fountain for his first remix. The tempo does shift up but the deep vibe remains with a spacious, tripped out environment quickly commanding your attention. Like much of Eli's past work there is a uniquely emotive yet otherworldly vibe locked in here, most notably during the break which works amazing well as an interlude, before shifting gears back to that rolling groove for a wicked third act.

The release concludes with one of our favourites at the moment Greenage. The Indian artist delivered one of the years biggest remixes for Nicholas Van Orton's 'Shelby'. Also showcasing a deeper sound, the Goa resident released a brilliant two track offering for the The Purr in May. Now continuing this great momentum Greenage rounds out the release with a massive interpretation of 'WonderLAN'. This fits very nicely into the progressive sound of now so to speak, it's groovy, astral and emotive in equal measure, making it ideal for a dance floor or just a great listening experience. Already performing well with DJs pre-release expect to be hearing this one a lot as the summer season begins. Highly recommended.
