What are your plans for the week? Hello good afternoon, first of all thanks for the invitation very happy for this. I'm finishing preparing the last details of my warm up to Yotto in Cordoba this weekend. Tell us a bit about yourself, how did you discover electronic music and what led you down the path of wanting to be a DJ and producer? It all began in the years 2009/10 sincerely I was very attracted to the music of large-scale festivals such as Tomorrowland, my life on electronic music is young. I decided to investigate how could be a DJ without knowing anything, there began this story of my life. The production came a time after getting deeply into the genres that I liked, Deep House, Progressive House, Techno in addition to finishing high school began to study the career of music production as a whole I understood that this was for me. Name five tracks that were most important in your musical development and why are these pieces so significant for you. In my beginnings I heard these clues that I took where I wanted to go Deadmau5 - Strobe Livio & Roby Featuring George G - Monochrome (Reprise) Hernán Cattáneo & John Tonks - Anime (Sequential Mix) Paul Kalkbrenner - Peet Paul Kalkbrenner - Since 77 I think those tracks marked a lot in my life at the beginning and 2 of them remixed them and I had a lot of support so I consider them important. Progressive music is well known for being hugely popular in Argentina, how did your country become the genre’s mecca over the last 10 years? Would you attribute a lot of it to Hernan Cattaneo? It is very special to be from this country, in these 10 years had that growth by such reference of Hernan Cattaneo, within those 10 years I learned from many artists as well as Baunder, Oliverio (Soundxile) Martin Garcia, Fernando Ferreyra, etc. Maybe these artists for me are very influential in the life of Progressive House in Argentina. Who are some up and coming Argentinean artists to look out for? I admire many artists at a national level, it is admirable the works they do and I have to also highlight the young people like me who have come up with an impressive talent, I can name you 5 top and 5 in growth that have surprised me 5 Top: Sebastian Busto, Emi Galvan, Ezequiel Arias, Kevin Di Serna, Juan Deminicis 5 on the rise: Berni Turletti, Sebastian Sellares, Julian Nates, Gaston Ponte, Agustin Lupidi What are your favourites venues to play in Argentina and why? I think where I go is very special, but I have a place that I feel is my home, where all my people and many friends are, Aquabarra (San Luis) I think that's where I am. You have a new remix out this week on Clubsonica Records, tell us about that and your production process on it. A prestigious stamp that I appreciate the invitation, every time I propose something I try to reach, Juan Pablo has given me that space so I can do the best of myself until today. I spent many hours and time wanted something melodic and at the same time energetic, I think I could achieve what I proposed What criteria does both a track and the label releasing it have to have in order for you to accept a remix project? I support much the national and international labels of many friends, today I am with a thought in being able to go climbing much more up to fulfill my dreams, my criterion is that it has a good exit, support of artists of great level, handling of social networks, etc Your productions carry a very unique, rhythmic energy, how is this achieved in the studio and where does your inspiration come from? Wow thank you very much for that, my inspiration comes from different genres of music, to be able to implement a little of everything I hear and see if I can create something different, I have that ability to be able to listen to everything and learn a little about each one Outside of all things music, what do you like to do in your spare time? In my spare time, I enjoy my Family, Girlfriend, Friends, Pets, a little sport, shows, a normal routine life What five tracks are you loving right now? There are so many tracks that excite me, they love me, but my 5 favorites of this moment are D-Nox & Beckers - PolyAcid (Navar Remix) [Beat Boutique] Stereo Underground - Wanderlust (Original Mix) [Balance Music] Gadi Mitrani - Mirror Room (Original Mix) [Sudbeat Music] Kasper Koman - Rocking Boat [EIN2] Black Coffee - Wish You Were Here feat. Msaki (Guy Mantzur Remix) [Ultra] We loved your remix of Guy J’s ‘Faces’ which we featured in our free download series, have you been working on any new bootleg remixes of late? Thank you very much, this remix has marked a lot in my career as a producer with such support of great artists, at the moment I'm not here but I have some projects waiting to be surprise at some point What are the biggest challenges you face as an artist in the industry right now? I feel that my challenge nowadays is the time to separate both things, like the life of the DJ and Producer, but I do not complain. In addition, I challenge myself every day to learn something new. Tell us what we can expect from you in the second half of 2019, anything you can share with us? This 2019 has many surprises, I have several jobs that are about to go on sale, I am also blessed to continue to know places in my country carrying my music, but until today the most important in October I have the possibility to travel to the country of Sri Lanka that a dream and a great achievement for me Fabri's remix of Russlan Jaafreh 'Hanguk' is out now on Clubsonica Records, you can purchase the release here: https://bit.ly/2wQ0qzN/a>
