Dmitry Molosh – The First Ray of Sun [Deepwibe Underground]

Deepwibe Underground welcomes Dmitry Molosh back to the label for a new single. The Belarus based artist made his first appearance on the Estonian imprint in January with a well received remix of 'Elysium' by The Cobb. As one of the years biggest progressive house tracks, the remix enjoyed a one month long stay atop Beatport's Progressive House Hype Chart, where it still sits at number five at the time of this writing. Now a veteran of the progressive house underground, Dmitry continues to showcase his music on the genre's premiere imprints such as Cid Inc's Replug Records and Hernan Cattaneo's Sudbeat Music. Continuing to forge a bond with Deepwibe Underground, Dmitry then released his first single for the label in February. Entitled 'Frame' and backed by remixes from Ewan Rill and Weird Sounding Dude, the release once again earned the praise of progressive music's top guard while also enjoying similar commercial success. Now following a single for Supacooks 'Kitchen Recordings', Dmitry returns to Deepwibe Underground with a special single-track release entitled 'The First Ray of Sun'.

We've gotten to see some different sides of Dmitry's production repertoire in recent months. While always firmly rooted in progressive house, the Belarus based artist has also ventured into deeper, more organic territory at times, and here with the aptly titled 'The First Ray of Sun' we get a trancier vibe. From it's full, muscular groove, robust rhythms and fiery percussion this is a big sounding creation from the outset. Add to that a wave of soaring melodies and hugely poignant chord changes and the end result is a full on dance floor destroyer. Hitting the streets just as some parts of the world are opening up again, this is a track you should be hearing a lot in the coming months and no doubt another gem in Deepwibe Underground's impressive 2021 schedule.
