The four LA-based artists flip the original’s haunting strains into two modern, electronic cuts. Both tracks feature Daria’s timeless rendition of Isaak’s sorrowful lyrics, her soothing performance capturing the essence of the ballad perfectly, stirring heart and soul alike.

Dear Humans & Sarkis Mikael unleash the club mix, taking listeners on a wild ride through euphoric melodic soundscapes. They trade the original’s wailing strings for thundering stabs and incorporate chugging drums, swelling synths and trance-inducing drops. Dear Humans & Dekado’s lush downtempo version then overlays her vocal with cosmic rhythms, dubbed-out drums echoing throughout the gaps between the vocalist’s words while maintaining the authentic guitar from Chris’ masterpiece.

This introspective release shows two new sides to a historic track, bringing both beauty and heartache to the dancefloor and the after-hours.
