The latest edition of our free download series welcomes ASTRØ for his first appearance. Based in Lebanon, ASTRØ first came to our attention earlier this year with a release via MoBlack Records. Landing in May and supported by a wide range of electronic music trendsetters, the double a-side release found the Beirut resident crafting two tracks rich in spirit and allusion. Also gaining considerable playtime amongst the world’s elite DJs this year has been ASTRØ’s take on ‘Leave the World Behind’ by Swedish House Mafia. Released in 2009 and featuring the vocals of Canadian singer Deborah Cox, the recognizable classic would go on to reach No. 40 in the US Dance charts.
