His soulful qualities and organic design have led to signings on Guy J's Lost & Found Records and Canadian behemoth microCastle. A sparse release schedule has only made the love for his sound stronger and his Edge debut all the more anticipated

"I don't specify my music. I simply play and produce what I love." And that's what Leipzig/Germany based Marcel Sterling alias Marc DePulse wants to tell us with his releases and podcasts: there is no box into which you must fit in because you are free in your mind to do whatever you love. Being real, being authentic, being a full time music lover. That means: go to bed and wake up with only music in your head. Whoever shed some tears while listening to emotional music can relate to what Marc is trying to achieve. It has to be “music to remember” and make a big impact. And that could be a melody, a baseline, steady percussion or strong vocals. Marc has already connected a lot of that love with his music. In more than a decade represented by the strongest labels (150+ releases) and performing on the biggest international stages, Marc has established as a unique producer and DJ. After releases and remixes on Noir Music, Traum Schallplatten, Definition:Music, Katermukke, Sel

The mastermind behind the label, Definition himself returns with a massive new solo release, Falling EP. With his last solo release nearly a year back, one look at the tracklist gives us an idea why; 5 new and exclusive works – quality takes time. The title track opens the EP in a deep and melodic landscape burning low and steady. The vocal cuts bring an ethereal vibe as the synths crescendo and the kick beats on. Next Dimitri shows us another side, ‘Tulipe Noir’ engages us in an electric fantasy full of swirling arpeggios cloaked in retro vibes. The collaboration with his friend Def:Play spends a tribute to an old Soul, which introduced them and kicked off the start for a beautiful friendship. A beautiful adventure right from the begin, thanks to a stunning arrangement and a knack for flow. ‘Emotions’ drops us in a world of deep heavy kicks with tense air between them. The pads rise. The reason for our journey is clear as the floor throbs with bass. But that’s no

Fennec & Wolf is back with an EP, delivering two original tracks, rounded off with a slowed down edit by label friend Fabio Montana. The title track 'Nazareth' takes us into a deep, synthesizer journey. It is driven by an ongoing bell-like in the centre and occasional delays, swelling sounds pacing from left to right. The second original cut 'Haertz' has a more laid back groove, which gets supplemented by a basic, yet emotional synthesizer and a gently pushing baseline in the centre of the track. On the B-Side of the EP Fabio Montana slows down 'Nazareth', without loosing its energy. Waiving a too dramatic break, he rather lets it become an ongoing force, ideal for after hour vibes. ► YouTube: bit.ly/ProgressiveAstronautSubscribe ► Soundcloud: bit.ly/ProgressiveAstronautSC ► Website: bit.ly/ProgressiveAstronautWEB ► Facebook: bit.ly/ProgressiveAstronautFB ► Twitter: bit.ly/ProgressiveAstronautTW ► Instagram: bit.ly/ProgressiveAstronautIG ► PA
