Argentina is a country with a celebrated progressive house heritage. One of the key figures at the inception of the movement was Marcelo Vasami. First hitting the scene in 2005, the Buenos Aires-based artist quickly became one of the genre's most recognizable names, eventually showcasing his music on Sudbeat and Hope Recordings. He continues to be one of his country’s most popular DJs, having shared the stage with Hernan Cattaneo, Nick Warren, Guy J and Replug label boss Cid Inc. Having debuted on Replug in 2011, Marcelo now makes a long overdue return with a brand new EP entitled 'A Fantastic Fear Of Everything'. Original music from Marcelo has been scarce as of late, with his last project (a collaboration with fellow countryman Nicko Izzo) being released well over a year ago on Nick Warren's Hope Recordings. 'A Fantastic Fear Of Everything' couldn't arrive with more anticipation and points to being the Argentine's career best work. Entrancing soundscapes combined with a sub hea

This is the final release in Thomas Schumachers break out Natural Rhythm trilogy on Noir Music. Not only did he position himself on the top of the charts with the first two releases but he also put his name straight in the spotlight and into the dj-sets of many of the top players in the techno scene. So whats the next move when you have great success and peoples attention ?For both Noir Music and Thomas Schumacher its a no-brainer; You take it one step further and keep challenging yourself and your audience. The opener Stella on this release is an example of just that. A very emotional string-led track accompanied by relentless techno beats, distorted arppeggios and a big cinematic break to make you pull your hair out from pure joy (i know i almost did). Persistence is a mesmerising acid-journey that digs deeper and deeper in its intensity as it evolves into one of Thomas Schumachers signature breaks. Then the track takes an unexpected turn through a more complex, dynamic rhyth

Super Flu proudly welcome two highly respected artists they've been keeping tabs on for some time now: BOg and Remcord. Hailing from France and Romania respectively, between the two of them they've worked on some of the most on-point labels imaginable: Style Rockets, Innervisions, Diynamic, Bedrock, Atmosphere. Now, for their collaborative debut, it's time to tell some sonic stories Monaberry style… And they do so in luxuriant, restrained and interstellar style. 'Ajei' sets the tone. Misty and mystic; a palpitating sub and kick is enshrouded with humanised textures as synth lines entwine with arpeggiated magic. One of those tunes that creeps up on your crowd without them realising; when everything breaks down and the story truly unfolds they'll be hooked, lined and sinkered to the very end. We move deeper into the two rising artists' sense-arresting world and strike groove gold with 'Roba'. Subtly funky with an alluring vibe that hits you just above the hips, keep your ears ou

Branko and Niklas, also known collectively as Hidden Empire offer up three original tracks channelling an impulsive and deeply moving soundscape, fitting to their usual approach. 'Black Beauty' kicks in with an energetic groove, massive bassline rolling in from the first bars. Its a relentless excursion into a cavernous Techno territory that rings true to its title. A different slice of powerhouse Techno comes in the shape of 'Build Your Empire', a track brimming with thrilling synths and dramatic escalation. 'Transcending Time' offers a more penchant, yet equally dark Tech expedition, accented with haunting sirens along strings of various suspense-building elements. ► YouTube: bit.ly/ProgressiveAstronautSubscribe ► Soundcloud: bit.ly/ProgressiveAstronautSC ► Website: bit.ly/ProgressiveAstronautWEB ► Facebook: bit.ly/ProgressiveAstronautFB ► Twitter: bit.ly/ProgressiveAstronautTW ► Instagram: bit.ly/ProgressiveAstronautIG ► PA Booking Enquiries:

The 11th edition of 'Four To The Floor' is here. Diynamic Music's very own various artist series, which is always comprised of four dancefloor-oriented tracks that have one special quality in common: they have all been heavily road tested and certified by label boss Solomun on his countless gigs all over the world. Opening the record is a soaring Tech House train with the catchiest electric guitar-turn-string-turn-choir riff you will hear all year: 'Im So Crazy', originally released by Par-T-One in 2001, now remixed by Armonica. Up next is German Brigante with 'Mango', a thumping bass heavy anthem with lots of old-school elements. The third track 'Choose Life' by Alexandros Djkevingr & Greg Ignatovich has gained a lot of attention through Solomun's Tomorrowland set and features lyrics of Danny Boyle's critically acclaimed film 'Trainspotting'. Closing off the eleventh instalment of FTTF is Serhan Guney with his dreamy 'Journey Of The Mind', an ethereal Deep House voyag

Loss of control. Shimmering lights, smelly buildings'corners, a heavy throb in your head. Time doesn't pass, doesn't stop, is meaningless. Your whole body is off-line, your mind blown away. But that doesn't matter because it brings you further and you set the direction. Marc DePulse's second longplayer "Kontrollverlust" will be out in November. Loosing yourself in music, in trance - on purpose or because life takes it's way - that's what it's about. While "Uranus51" is mystical and spheric, a straight way into nowhere, the second track "Her Fragrance" already catches you with dark, dirty bass lines and pulsating beats. Xenia Beliayeva's vocals on the title track "Kontrollverlust" are telling a story about love and sorrow at the same time. Visions, fantasy, the whole longplayer is full of emotions. "Hats Off" starts with a bleeping and continues softly and peacefully. A perfect club tune followed by "Sienka" with this little extra of funk. So now "Better Be Nice" while dark basses a
