More Brazilian magic from Plano B with two tracks from Sonic Future featuring remixes from Akken and Rancido. With tracks signed to a number of influential labels, live artist Sonic Future is becoming regarded as something of an underground hero in his native Brazil and beyond. Opening with the groovesome ‘Rwanda’ skippy synths modulate and marinate amongst a rich percussive tapestry reaching fever pitch on the drop. On remix duties, Rancido keeps it deep and stripped back adding an extra level of off-kilter weird with a killer theremin lead line, while Akken drops the tempo with a smooth deep house ride adding vocal pressure midway to enrich the strong original motifs Rounding out the pack is another original track. ‘Palm Mute’. More visceral that Rwanda, the tribal back beat is punctuated by groovy rock guitar licks and electronic stabs. ► YouTube: bit.ly/ProgressiveAstronautSubscribe ► Soundcloud: bit.ly/ProgressiveAstronautSC ► Website: bit.ly/Progre

'The Soundgarden returns with electronic figurehead Nick Warren and Argentinian superstar Nicolas Rada joining forces on a new four-track EP, including a stunning remix from Edinburgh-based producer Stillhead. Nick Warren’s place in the dance music halls of fame is well established. Since the early 90s he’s released music on a variety of labels - including turning his hand to heading up the A&R for Bristol uberlabel Hope Recordings - before taking the reins at his own label, The Soundgarden. For Nicolas Rada, the journey is still just unfolding. His love of UK indie rock band Radiohead opened him up to dance music, and over the last 10 years he has quietly built a head of steam through his productions (and been able to count his heroes Danny Howells, John Digweed and Nick Warren himself among an ever-growing army of admirers). The tracks themselves capture a perfect moment in time. Deep, lingering pads and soft percussion creates vivid mental imagery as the tracks rev

After Thomas Schumachers succesful Natural Rhythm trilogy on Noir Music, the Berlin-based producer now returns with a fresh new release for us. Thomas and I have been very much in sync with what music we like, play and get inspired by the past couple of years so I was one big smile when I received these new bangers from Mr. Schumacher. Continuing on from last years trilogy, in 2018 we embark on new adventures starting with this 90s rave inspired Embody Paradox release. Both tracks are geniusly crafted and a tribute to warehouse moments from the early 90s with a twist of Thomas skilful 2018 freshness. "Embody is built around a timeless 303 sequence wrapped in Thomas unique synths, soundscapes and relentless beats. On Paradox Thomas goes back to oldschool arpeggio influences, his signature string composition and thumping subs. If you like rave-music You will love this. If you like good techno. You will love this. Thomas Schumachers creative juices are flowing more abundantly

What makes everybody's darling duo Monkey Safari so special is surely their authenticity; with their striking debut album 'Odyssey' , this meant producing the same kind of tracks they were playing as they toured nightclubs and festivals around the world, rather than simply a listening album. The result was a dance floor artwork. And while they may be perfectionists, they're certainly no purists, carefully handpicking remixers they see as most capable of continuing their vision for the album. Split in 3 separate EPs, 'Odyssey Remixed One' , 'Two' , and 'Three' will be released in May , June , and July 2018 , featuring reworks of the original album tracks by the master himself, Carl Cox , international stars Hernan Cattaneo , Guy J , Tensnake and Reboot , studio geniuses Dubspeeka, Hannes Bieger, ROD, and Phil Moffa , as well as up-and-coming talent Avidus , Trivmph , and Hommage label co-chief Karl Friedrich ► YouTube: bit.ly/ProgressiveAstronautSubscribe ► Soundcloud: bit.ly

Here I Am - with full power summer synths and bleeps, a great big floor arrangement and bumping house vibes. Dirty Doering is touring around the globe and leaves his signature everywhere. His sound is unique and extensive. Light and Disco - Nicone delivers a poppy remix while Miyagi pushes the track into the relaxed techy corner. Fat Sushi are back on the EP with a multi-layered remix arrangement and the typical pumping break. The last Katermukke events went crazy with the performance of Kid Simius - he brings "Here I Am" to a new level with a soft house attitude and trancy soundscapes. A totally new track is born which will make your day more easy and the night seriously peaceful and unique. Last but not least Nobodys Face delivers a breaky version for the moments with less action in the sun. ► YouTube: bit.ly/ProgressiveAstronautSubscribe ► Soundcloud: bit.ly/ProgressiveAstronautSC ► Website: bit.ly/ProgressiveAstronautWEB ► Facebook: bit.ly/ProgressiveAstronautFB
