For its second release of 2018, microcastle welcomes the mysterious Cornucopia project back to the label for a new EP. Following on from the success of his last release for Beat Boutique, Sao Paulo-based Spuri returns with 3 more richly emotive slices of modern progressive named The Vauxhall EP after parts of the UK’s capital city, London. Starting out in 2005, Spuri has quietly built a strong career for himself. His crisp, clean beats and devastating sound design have won him many plaudits including Sasha, Guy J and many others. Opening with the trail-blazing lead track, Vauxhall sinister synth shots ricochet amid industrial sweeps and a groovesome saw-toothed bass line. Functional and dance floor focused, it stands head and shoulders above its contemporaries.
