Morttagua joins forces with the experienced American lead vocalist Chris Severe AKA Ghost WARS to bring us the progressive anthem "Hourglass" . 'Hourglass' has been a stable in Morttagua live sets for about one year already, being one of his most requested unreleased secret weapons. Now it finally finds its official release with heavyweight remixes from the likes of Khainz, Stas Drive and Supacooks. Morttagua fuses serious underground progressive beats to perfection in what most would call a commercial top line vocal from Ghost WARS. The combination between Morttaguas introspective harmonies, hypnotic arpeggios and detailed special effects with Ghost WARS melancholic vocals end up working so harmonically well, that though a paradox, Hourglass will find the hearts of both the underground and the more fine-tuned commercial crowds, with a serious potential of becoming a timeless anthem. On the Remix duties, Swiss heavyweight Khainz gives deep and emotional melodic atmosphere

Creative powerhouse Gabe returns to Sprout with relative newcomer, Rikfell with the new single, ‘Waterfall’ featuring a huge Doctor Dru remix. Gabe needs little introduction. Signed to a bewildering number of labels including Bonzai, Renaissance, Suara, Tronic and Get Physical, in recent times Gabe’s focus has been on developing a live show marrying his love of the studio with the thrill of playing to his adoring fans. Brazilian sensation Rikfell is still making his mark, but with the likes of Gabe, Solomun and Maceo Plex among his growing legion of fans, it won’t be long before he’s a household name too. Starting innocently enough, ‘Waterfall’ is a delicate, considered slice of contemporary progressive house with a gutsy low end that never fails to get the party moving. Bursting with sass and sparkle, it sashays along with gay abandon and a cheeky smile, Elegantly the synths weave in and out while the steadfast bass growls from the sidelines. Powerful and understa

Cid Inc. returns to his Replug Records imprint for the much anticipated follow-up to his chart topping ‘Abyss’. Released in April of this year, the peak time opus enjoyed a two week long stay atop Beatport’s Progressive House tracks chart. Aided by months of live play from Hernan Cattaneo and Guy J, the boundless eight minute journey firmly sits as one of the year’s best in progressive house. Now as the summer season winds to a close Cid Inc. presents the much anticipated follow-up entitled ‘Bird Cherry’. For an artist who has captured the imagination of progressive music fans for over a decade, Cid Inc. has raised the bar yet again with ‘Bird Cherry’. From its lively beginnings you’re immediately captivated as tight beats, buoyant bass tones and finely tuned percussion converge for the ultimate rhythmic wave. Sparse yet timely, ghostly effects add further anticipation before crunchy stabs steal the air as the main break commences. The centerpiece shifts the narra

Time is considered to be our most valuable good. Time is limited and there's no way additional time can be bought, no matter what the price would be. Therefore those are to be considered rich who've got plenty of time and do know how, and what, to spend their time on in a reasonable way. Those who don't have to live their lives adjusted to the rhythm of a check clock, those not bound to an everlasting cycle of appointments and due dates, and especially those who don't feel like their personal time is taken away from them by the hour but - just in an opposite manner - that time is given to them to use it in the best possible way ever. This comes down to: getting rid of the strict regime installed upon us by watches. These are for those who do not understand the real value of time. Therefore EUCH DIE UHREN UNS DIE ZEIT, an idiom which translates as 'You've got the watches, we've got the time...', is way more than just an album title. It's a specific mind-set perfectly reflecting o

The mysterious pair seemingly from another planet (or at least the north German coast) drop a three track bomb on Poker Flat Recordings. Kotelett & Zadak bring a much-needed sense of fun to the floor with their tracks, and this release is perhaps their best yet. Title track 'Clovis' is full of energy, and the boys utilize a lot of effects to add some spice to their already sizzling groove. It’s full of drama and suspense, with unexpected melodic elements that verge on the cosmic; perfect for those open-air moment. 'Syntax' is a spacey groover: a thick drum track provides the direction, while inventive samples, stabs and hits provide the fun along the way before a cheeky vocoder voice arrives in the breakdown. 'I LFO You' is a tech house heater - the track has space galore and a perfectly placed synth squiggle provides the hook. ► YouTube: bit.ly/ProgressiveAstronautSubscribe ► Soundcloud: bit.ly/ProgressiveAstronautSC ► Website: bit.ly/ProgressiveAstronaut
