Mike Isai returns to Sudbeat with a solid double-header. Mike has established himself as a rising star in the electronic music scene. His first release, the "Pillars to Butterflies" EP, received widespread acclaim. Drawing inspiration from the sounds of New York City's legendary club scene, Mike is taking clubland by storm, already signed to some significant imprints such as Hope Recordings, One Dot Six Two, and Mango Alley. Opening with ‘Control’, we are introduced to the deep tribal stylings of one of the world's party capitals, New York City. Tough and uncompromising, the groove is bass heavy and soulful, becoming hypnotic with consummate ease. Next up, ‘Desire’ has a similar tribal feel. Think classic Creamer & K era. Groovesome and chunky, this is one for the darker floors in the early hours where the phones are forgotten. Few producers can traverse the realms of deep melodic narrative and hypnotic club energy with the finesse of Roger Martinez. On his latest HIGHER STATES release, the label head himself takes listeners on a journey that spans desert landscapes, hypnotic rhythms, and ethereal vocal textures. On ‘Imashaghen’ - the true name of the Tuareg people, meaning ‘noble and free’ - the listener is carried on a journey that slowly unfolds into peak-time frenzy, propelled by ancestral percussion, layered textures, and a mesmerising Tuareg vocal. The track’s subtle unfolding narrative recalls the spirit of Martinez’s 2015 Lost & Found release Downriver, a track that first firmly established his gift for trance-inducing rhythm, evolving atmospheres, and club-conscious storytelling. On the flip, ‘Eternal’ is a hypnotic groove monster. A central rolling arpeggio motif pulses insistently, building tension and momentum throughout the track. The groove returns again and again, de

Kicking off 2026 with a fresh new EP from the captains of the good ship TAU, Adana Twins. They set their intentions loud and clear with this collaborative release, teaming up with the super talented Kadosh for this two-track excursion. But the creative teamwork doesn’t end there… On vocals they’re joined by Brazilian singer Abrão and an icon of electronic music, JAW. Between them they’re a formidable crew, bringing together wide-ranging experience, combined with great vibes and energy that gave birth to the Na Favela EP. ‘Na Favela’ is the opening cut, Abrão’s effortless vocals providing the emotional hook in tandem with the stirring instrumental. Infectious drum arrangement propels this track along, combined with a sombre low end. Kadosh and the Adana’s carefully create an increasingly tense energy, building up to a breakdown filled with emotive power - Abrão’s voice generating a strong heartfelt pulse. As we enter the latter part of the track, the beats, bass a

Astral Records 79 returns to the hands of our label boss Paul Anthonee. A name whose sound helped shape the very identity of Astral. With Sylon, Paul presents a track many have been waiting for: refined, evolved, and unmistakably forward-looking. Paul Anthonee is no stranger to the Astral catalogue. From early cornerstones like The Machines EP to powerful melodic house & techno offerings such as Palmira and Empires of Mind, hes consistently delivered atmospheric depth, emotional resonance and dance floor potency. With Sylon, Paul seems to steer the Astral sound into new territory, darker textures, sharper rhythmic drive, and spell-binding atmospheres that balance cinematic mood with club-ready energy. Its a track that doesnt just fit the Astral blueprint.. it expands it. Expect Sylon to be a powerful statement: a sonic journey that captures tension and release, introspection and intensity. Another milestone for Astral and a reminder of why Paul Anthonee remains at the heart of ou
