Techno titans and long time musical partners Marc Romboy and Oliver Huntemann are back with another epic collaboration in the form of ‘Schwarze Witwe’ on Romboy’s Systematic Recordings. This legendary pair have very much defined the sound of the electronic underground over recent decades. They are cutting edge artists with a unique grasp of melody and drama and always serve up fresh new sounds whenever they work together. Withering lines, pixelated pads and cosmic keys all light up the airwaves in dramatic and signatu

Clocking back in on Stil vor Talent, here goes Cioz with his newest delivery, 'These Accordi'. Taking its name from the Italian word for 'agreement' - which also stands for 'chords', the idea for the track actually came about when Alessandro's attention was caught by the sound of an asphalt paver in the street. He then sampled it and processed it to produce the bassline, which he says was "full of character and texture". On the conceptual side, Cioz explains the track aims to explore the balance between the notions of agreement and disagreement, an enslaving loop one needs to break out from to find this actual state of balance. The metronomic tension that animates 'These Accordi' throughout has the pendulum swinging sharp and clean, from proper jacking techno patterns to lithe EBM-ish bass music, onto liquid house hypnotism in the home stretch. Deftly shifting gears, from robotic jack to more organic layers and folds, Cioz has us traversing a wealth of moodscapes in one bumpy, elating
