Indian born, Singapore based artist Aman Anand has had much success across his twelve-year career. With a cutting-edge style, Aman has become beloved within the progressive music spectrum, recording standout projects for Juicebox Music, Mango Alley, RKP, Sudbeat and WARPP, while also earning play and support from the genre's elite guard in Guy J, Hernan Cattaneo and Nick Warren. This week finds Aman making his debut on Forty Cats PURRFECTION imprint with the thematic sounds of 'Sunset In Kabini', alongside a remix from the label boss herself.

To celebrate his PURRFECTION debut, Aman has curated a collection his Top 10 Progressive House Defining Moments. Enjoy!

1. Guy J - Pathos (Original Mix)

One of the first tracks I heard from the master of emotive progressive and lethal weapons, Guy J. This track made me delve deeper into the world of deep, groovy progressive house.

2. Deepfunk - Tulips Grow In Space (Marcelo Vasami Remix)

As soon as I took that deep dive, I discovered some more incredible producers like Deepfunk and Marcelo Vasami. This tune gives me goosebumps to this day! Very inspiring stuff.

3. Loquai - Irish Lore (Original Mix)

The haunting vocal and the catchy melody with that dark groove was a certified banger in my books.

4. Komytea - Electro House Is Dead (Original Mix)

This was a fresh sound for me back then - Super good minimal groovy progressive.

5. Pedro Aguiar - Ego Tripping (Guy J Remix)

Timeless masterpiece. I heard this tune on Guy J’s Ultra Music Festival 2015 mix and I was simply blown away by every element in the track. And, that mix is definitely a masterpiece too.

6. Head Honcho - Walls Of Jericho (Original Mix)

This track is way before I got introduced to the sound, but I am lucky I stumbled upon this one after rummaging through some seriously dope mixes by Anthony Pappa on Youtube.

7. Nikko.Z - The Lizard Kind (Luke Porter Remix)

Everything Luke Porter made was gold and I absolutely enjoyed listening to this one so much. The melody in this one, to me, is sinister and one that builds a lot of anticipation.

8. King Unique - Feniksas (Fergie Remix))

A hypnotic classic in my books. Love it from start to finish.

9. Neil Quigley & Cylon - Clear For Take Off (Neil Quigley Remix)

Distinctly remember taking off from the seat when my friend played this in a house party. Good times!

10. Way Out West - Spaceman (Robert Babicz Remix)

Another classic banger. I got the chance to listen to Robert Babicz in a seminal club in Singapore - kyo on my birthday, and when Robert Babicz dropped this tune, my night was made.
