Releases Nissim Gavriel – The Path [Massive Harmony Records] By Release Promo Posted on 17th August 2018 0 second read 0 0 Share on Facebook Share on Twitter Share on Reddit Share on Linkedin Nissim Gavriel returns to Julian Rodriguez's Massive Harmony Records this week with a new EP. The Israeli artist has found a comfortable home on the Argentinean imprint with this being his sixth appearance since making his label debut in 2013. Now following a collaborative effort with Ozgur Ozkan on Beat Boutique, Nissim returns to Massive Harmony with a new EP entitled 'The Path'. Massive Harmony has been exploring deeper territory over the last year or so with Lee Burridge chiming in with support as well. That trend continues with 'The Path' which is a glowing slice of deep, minimalistic house. When you can convey a strong emotion with so few elements and still have a strong dance floor sensibility you know you've hit the nail on the head and Nissim has certainly done that here. Poignant, delicate and refined; this is one to go home remembering after the night is over. 'Cinderella' meanwhile comes in a bit tougher yet still quite deep and laid back. Clocking in at 115 BPM it showcases afro drum elements and a deliberate cadence which will certainly serve it well on the dance floor. The third and final selection 'It Is Never Too Late' continues the ethos of the EP with a mid tempo groove and heartrending motifs. Perhaps the most reflective sounding of the three it's certainly thought provoking with squirrelly, spaced out lead themes and a glowing atmosphere resonating in the background. Three lovely tracks from Nissim that come at an appropriate time as the Northern summer is winding to a close. Highly recommended.
