Space Motion – Muse [Timeless Moment]

Morttagua’s Timeless Moment continues a strong summer schedule by welcoming Space Motion back to the label for a new EP. The Serbian artist made his debut on the Brazilian imprint in January of this year with ‘Get on the Bus’, a single he co-produced with Siguiente Tecnologia. Now following releases on Eleatics Records and his own Space Motion imprint, the Serbian artist returns to Timeless Moment with ‘Muse’ alongside a remix from Morttagua.

Support from Solomon and a host of other top DJs has come in droves this year for Space Motion and it would be safe to expect similar results on ‘Muse’. Undeniably modern, it’s bouncy, percussive and flamboyantly rhythmic appeal is hard to resist. It’s absolutely perfect for an enthusiastic dance floor and the cross cultural theme during the break will likely bring the house down. The companion piece ‘Ellora’ was produced in conjunction with Sirov and carries some amazing oriental sounding motifs. Again the framework is ultra modern with it’s crisp details, rolling rhythms and percussive splashes. Cirpy stabs add a playful, vibrant vibe to the proceedings and play of the eastern themes perfectly. Add to that a well crafted break and tasteful drop and you’ve got what could easily be an A-side track as well.

The lone interpretation of ‘Muse’ is provided by Timeless Moment boss Morttagua. The Brazilian artist continues to be one of his country's most respected progressive house figures and also owns releases on Beatfreak and Blackhole. Here he caps the release off with a stellar interpretation of ‘Muse’. The tempo and drive shift up a gear while the main theme resonates strongly throughout the seven minute journey. The main break is perhaps the highlight with lovely progression and a heightened sense of emotion, perfectly setting up a massive drop where the intricate details really shine. A massive remix from Morttagua which rounds out another special release from Timeless Moment. Highly Recommended.
