Isse Maraà – Transcendent Dreams [Vizia Recordings]

The second offing from Vizia Recordings finds label boss Isse Maraà stepping back into the spotlight. Perhaps better known for his DEKOVA alias, the Croatian artist coined his Isse Maraà moniker to focus on the cutting edge sounds of progressive and melodic house & techno. Landing within the same calendar year, it was a pair of singles via DEVOKA's Hood Stories Records which would shape the Isse Maraà sound going forward. IAMT Red and Echoverse would also play host to Isse's club-effective approach across 2024, but it was the formation of Vizia Recordings and subsequent first release which would ultimately serve as the years highlight. Now, retuning to the label for his second offering, Isse Maraà unveils a two-track showcase entitled 'Transcendent Dreams'.

Selection one 'Phantom' further cements Isse’s dancefloor minded ethos with its dynamic drive and fluid cadence. Anchored by rocketing beats and percussive flashes, the journey tastefully builds to a wild-eyed intensity of striking chord stabs and crystalline designs, carving out a memorable path into the break. With a peak-time energy that exudes spirit, the Croatian pulls from his expansive repertoire as the interlude takes shape, infusing a trance-inspired lead into the mix, as drums build and effects orbit, before a quiet calm preludes a thunderous drop for ultimate dancefloor rush.

The release concludes with the enigmatic sounds of the title selection ‘Transcendent Dreams’. Tinted with pyrotechnic synths and buzzing stabs, Issa’s unique emotionality peaks here, as he crafts a super-charged dancefloor bomb, all while weaving in billowing bass swells, thought provoking vocal fragments and festival-sized riffs, for what is an unforgettable ride to round out the EP in style.
