Releases Erich Von Kollar – Sentimiento [Musique de Lune] By Release Promo Posted on 29th May 2024 9 min read 0 0 Share on Facebook Share on Twitter Share on Reddit Share on Linkedin Musique de Lune wraps up a strong spring season by welcoming Erich Von Kollar to the label for his debut single. Based in Hungary and armed with a progressive organic crossover sound, Erich Von Kollar has nearly fifteen years of production experience, releasing music primarily via his own Stellar Fountain imprint. Much like many progressive house producers, the Debrecen resident has recently revitalized his career with a string of organic-focused productions via Amulanga and Nordic Voyage. With well-received releases via Ruben Karapetyan's RKP and Juan Pablo Torrez's Clubsonica to begin the year, Erich now makes his Musique de Lune debut with 'Sentimiento', alongside remixes from Nicolas Viana and Fernando Olaya. Already a favourite of Hernan Cattaneo, CamelPhat, Lost Desert and Shai T, 'Sentimiento' lands with many of the production hallmarks we've come to expect from Erich. The Hungarian strikes a nice balance between his more recent organic productions and his progressive-minded approach from the past, in turn creating a track that not only proves to be highly effective on the dance floor but hits on a profound emotional level as well. Melancholic melodies and fragmented vocals intertwine atop well-carved grooves and dynamic kick drums for a gorgeous first act, while a break rich in textural colour pushes tension just enough to guarantee a great reaction for the astute drop and rejuvenating finale to come. Making his label debut with the first interpretation of 'Sentimiento' is Nicolas Viana. Beloved for his releases via Amulanga, Kindisch, Melody Of The Soul, Or Two Strangers and Songuara, the Argentine brings his organic approach to the track with great style. The main themes translate beautifully over Nicolas' tight, compact framework, for a slow-burning journey that evokes emotion through timely modulation and a perfectly crafted break, the latter of which maintains a great sense of rhythm before delivering a strong drop and suitably driving final act. Rounding out the release is Fernanda Olaya who returns to the label following his 'Memories From the Future' EP which landed in April of this year. The Colombian artist complements the previous two versions perfectly with a mix that drifts further away from the main themes of the original. As the most distinctly organic mix on the release, there's more of a whimsical energy about it, nicely conveyed through it's buoyant, lively grooves and almost playful re-assemble of the main melody, a rejig which not only carries a carnival-like quality making it perfect for day or night play, but also ties the sensibilities of the release together in one stand alone for a perfect conclusion to the project.
