As one of the label's core contributors, Greek artist Mind Conspiracy has emerged as premiere talent within the melodic house and techno landscape. Coming off a strong 2022 which yielded seven originals and two remixes, many of which were with Eat My Hat boss Ziger, Mind Conspiracy now unveils his first project for the new year, a two-track showcase entitled 'Rock Solid'. Aimed squarely at a peak hour dance floor, EP opener 'Rock Solid' finds Mind Conspiracy composing with a strong sense of space. The Greek artist masterfully marries trance-inducing rhythms and striking percussion with punchy beats and rolling grooves. An array of deconstructed vocals and melodic fragments steal the air across the first act, adding texture and depth leading into the main break. Timely modulation continues to elevate mood across the interlude, creating anticipatory moments, before giving way to the thunderous groove for a charged finale. The companion piece 'Solstice' lands with an equally impressive peak-time flair. Enticing from the start, its tight, machine-gun groove excites with its vibrant energetic pulse. Astral sonics and driving percussion steal the air, as wobbly chord changes capsize the room rocking groove leading into the break. Emotion peaks as the interlude unfolds, with a pyrotechnic lead and flurries of claps eventually getting washed away in a rush of beats for a heads down finale. It rounds out two massive main room cuts from Mind Conspiracy, which should see considerable play time throughout the winter season. Highly recommended.
