Goraieb – Echoes From the Shore [Stellar Fountain]

Goraieb returns to Stellar Fountain for his debut single 'Echoes From the Shore'. The Brazilian artist fist appeared on the Hungarian imprint in January of this year with a remix of Andrologic’s 'Metanoia'. Having also released on progressive scene favourite Balkan Connection South America and Just Movement, Goraieb returns to Stellar for his first single alongside remixes from Montw and Surmillo.

The original mix comes in quite smooth and dreamy which certainly fits the Stellar Fountain ethos. It's pulsating framework is wondrously hypnotic and flows with an effortless ease. Musically, Goraieb builds a heavenly narrative with poignant melodies and radiant pads, the latter of which really shine during a heart stealing break.

First up on the remixes is Montw who makes his label debut. The Russian artist is known for his releases on BC2, Droid9 and Electronic Tree. Now he adds Stellar Fountain to his portfolio with a gorgeous remix of 'Echoes From the Shore'. Bringing more of a pure progressive feel, Montw reshapes the groove into a classic chugger while the melodic elements get dubbed down for more of an atmospheric feel. Otherworldly would be an apt choice of description which the main break only furthers.

The release concludes with Surmillo returning to the label following his 'Dune' single from last week. Also hailing from Russia, Surmillo brings a unique approach to 'Echoes From the Shore' with a rugged low end and dreamy yet trippy top lines. He's managed to capture the essence of the original in a much more subversive and psychedelic context, which turns out to be the complement. Definitely a name you're going to be hearing more about and a remix that rounds out another fine release from Stellar Fountain.
