It's been almost a full calendar year since we last heard from the Hungarian artist, with 2021 yielding the 'Wingless' and 'Disconnection' singles, for Stellar Fountain and Groove 9 respectively. With Stellar Fountain continuing to focus on organic house, Miraculum's new music has also shifted in that direction with his latest entitled 'Burn' coming alongside remixes from Domingo + and Nursultan Kun. With 'Burn' Miraculum diversifies his portfolio further with a vocal led organic cut that's perfect for the summer season. Warm, roomy grooves set the foundation for exotic drum arrangements, classically styled vocals and meandering piano motifs. Hugely whimsical throughout, it's housey cadence should fair well on the outdoor circuit and only furthers Miraculum as a diverse and accomplished producer. Label stalwart Chris Domingo aka Domingo + returns to the label and provides the first remix. Beginning the year pursuing solo endeavors Chris has continued to impress with projects for Proton Music, RYNTH, Songuara and Sound Avenue. The Florida resident always has an interesting approach to remixing and it's prevalent here once again. The housey swing of the original gets dubbed down for a more spacious roomy groove, while the piano motif sits further off in the distance as well. Operating primarily as a dub, the vocal does emerge during the main break but in relatively indistinct fashion, carrying on into a finale which is equal parts dreamy and percussive. Also a label resident, Nursultan Kun returns to provide the second and final interpretation of 'Burn'. Hailing from Aktobe, Kazakhstan, Nursultan has also had an impressive 2022, highlighted by releases via Canopy Sounds, Enormous Vision, Everything Will Be OK and Immersed. Following on from his last Stellar Fountain vehicle, the April release of a Pablo German remix, Nursultan dials in a stylish take on 'Burn'. Likely the most emotive of the three, it's nostalgic chord changes and pixie-like melodies work beautifully together, while the vocal sits atop with a lighter, airier feel; perfectly translating it's spiritual mood to the dance floor. Gorgeous work from Nursultan which rounds out a triumphant return to Stellar Fountain for label boss Miraculum, an artist who continues to impress with his shape-shifting production skills.
