How can you describe a sound of universal and at the same time earthly music? A sound journey that contains elements from global civilizations who left their sign in pan-human culture and also the most modern explorations of the human soul. After 25 years deepening through sounds and self-awareness musical experiences, he was attracted from places with distinct vibrations such as Mykonos, Athens, Boston, Berlin, London, Oslo, Brussels, Istanbul, Rome, Kuala Lumpur, Cairo, Tulum, Cancun, Kashmir, Bombay, Ancient Pompey,Cambodia, japan e.t.c. Summing up Akashic emotions through spirit and secret sounds who leads him at his point of music trip at the world renowned Alemagou Mykonos as resident dj. During this itinerary he encountered very special musicians and composers, music travelers and lovers with whom the interaction was mutual and spontaneous like Tale of Us, Mano Le tough, Jota Karloza, Mayan warriors, Rafaele Castiglione, Estray, Dandara, Blondish, Birds of mind, Hernan Cattaneo Sasha, Kevin Yost, MAW, Digweed, Manu Chao e.t.c, and all the distinguished Greek djs and producers. This is what leaded him to the creation of his sound identity manifested by his project called ΠΑΝ(PAN),inspired by the Greek origin of ‘wholeness’. Now he is realizing dj sets and music producing around the globe with the head in the clouds and the feet on the ground.

Hi ConstaDine, thanks for joining us. What is your current mood and what was the last piece of music you listened to?

Hello to everyone. My mood is great and the last piece of music i listened was some unreleased tracks from special friends and groups.

Tell us a bit about yourself, how did you discover electronic music and what led you down the path of wanting to be producers and DJs?

From my early years i was listening a lot of music and also part of many groups and music projects of different styles and genres that's for sure effect my style and taste in music in more multidimensional paths electronic music was one of my passion and the urge to produce bleeps sounds atmosphere and ambience, leeds me to start experiment with that genre

What music from your youth had the biggest effect on where you are today? Are there certain tracks or albums which profoundly influenced you?

My music influences is wide range, from psychedelic 70ʼs to new wave, rock, electronica, dreamy romance pop, funk, and world. Groups like pink floyd, dead can dance, miranda sex garden, sw8as, cocteu twins, klaus shulze, depeche mode, orbital, future sound of london, orbs, and so many others effect my sound and my music filters. That was also my inspiration to start producing, composing singing and djing.

How has living in growing up and living in Greece shaped the music you make and your career path so to speak?

When i start djing at 90ʼs at my country was not so famous job ,worldwide career t8lking-to be dj and producer..yes we had dj scene but mostly local heroes and many internation8l djs. The greek djs producers had plenty of t8lent but poor advertising international. then it was difficult to start worldwide career. This thing change within years and some of us manage to expand
beyond our country boarders.

How did your residency at Greece’s famous Alemagou Mykonos eventually come to shape the sound you have today?

Alemagou gives me the space to play from downtempo electronica and organic to most uptempo sounds and rhythms. And that is very important for me because i have wide range influences as a musician dj and producer.

You have a new EP out this week on DJ Zombi’s Good New Records, tell us a bit about the release and how it showcases your individualities.

The collaboration with DJ Zombiʼs Good New Records was a very good decision bec8use i can see a very quality, promising label, coming up to electronic scene. My ep ‘ʼGoldʼʼ is releasing at 22.2.2021 and includes 3 original tracks. I am very satisfied with the result and the nature of my partnership with Good New Records.

I think for a lot of artists music allows you to write a sketch of your own personal universe in a way; your travels, life experiences etc. It’s something that seems to resonate strongly from your music in fact. Where does inspiration come from? And was there anything that inspired these two tracks?

Music is a Universal Code .Each musician is a universe by him-her self. Every experience that u recording at ur memory of ur brain ,heart or soul Immediately comes to the light thru ur Art. Then yes, experiences all kind, like traveling, exploring, self-awareness, cultural etc, effect very drastically our sound and music.

Your music has an amazingly rich, organic sound. What does your set-up like? Do you favor physical gear over digital?

Thank u for ur good words! Yes because i am also a musician -singer, i have a lot of organic physical gear..but i love also digital stuff..the balance between them i think is the perfect scenario for my music projects.

What studio tools featured heavily in the writing of this EP?

At ‘ʼGoldʼʼ EP i use as a base my logic home studio, but all the guitars, vocals, and pianos i wrote it in another studio that is qualified for organic gears..Vocals, piano is by me, guitars by Nik Koutsinas, amazing musician that was co-operate at the past with big bands as session guitar player

How have you been dealing with COVID-19? Has affected your inspiration to write new music?

Of course nobody likes what is going on to the world right now, but to be honest for me was a good chance to stay at my house ,work with my music and my self and enjoy quality time of relaxation, that because of the nature of my work couldnʼt do it so often as i wanted to do.

How much of an effect do other genres of music outside of the electronic realm have on your own productions?

As i mention earlier ,yes i have many influences by other genres of music except electronic. I guess New wave, electro, Synth-pop,rock, and indie psychedelia touch me a lot and define me artistically in many ways.

Is there a movie you would have loved to have produced the soundtrack for? And if so why?

I am crazy with soundtracks and its so many movies that i would love to compose the soundtrack! I fit more in mysterious, sci-fi, epic and nostalgic stuff. some movies?
Blade runner, Sunshine, Interstellar, Mulholland Drive,-nd so many others!

What does the remainder of 2021 hold for you? Anything you can share with us?

Of course! Many new tracks, music projects, and a lot of important things for self-growing .. also to appreciate every single moment of life because nothing is granted ,nothing is sure, and everything is here and now! Moment is a bliss of Eternity, and holds the Immortal universal secrets..farewell.
