Superordinate Music rounds out the month of September by showcasing new interpretations of Eddy Tango's 'Rausch' EP. Originally released in March of this year, the two-track showcase found the German artist with two of his biggest tracks to date. Now as we enter the fall club season Superordinate invites Sebastian Haas and Paul Hamiltion to provide their own unique interpretations.

Returning to the label and providing the lone interpretation of 'Chrome' is Sebastian Haas. Hailing from London, Sebastian Haas has been a fixture of the progressive music scene for the better part of a decade. Releases for Freegrant Music, Joof Recordings and Or Two Strangers sit as discography highlights, while world class DJs continue to champion his energetic sound. Also a primary contributor to Superordinate Music, Sebastian has appeared on the label eighty-one times (including re-releases), while also finding a recent home on Deepwibe Underground and Michael A's Genesis Music. Now finding his way back to Superordinate, Sebastian dials in a massive rendition of 'Chrome'. Fluid and energetic across the first movement, Sebastian continues his stylized ways with flickering percussive arrangements, prophetic stabs and supernatural effects creating a colourful path into the main break. Sitting comfortably in an emotive yet tension filled space, percolating arps rise out of swirling atmospheres as the interlude evolves, eventually breaking off into thumping drop and effects-laden. Definitely one for a peak time dance floor.

The release concludes with Paul Hamilton returning to the label with the lone interpretation of 'Rausch'. As one of Malta’s most well known progressive house artists Paul has found a home on Armada, Balkan Connection, Droid9, Freegrant Music and Perspectives Digital, while his equally impressive DJ skills have seen him perform at Ministry Of Sound (Dubai) and Godskitchen (Dubai). With a year that has been highlighted by releases for Deepwibe Underground, Soundteller Records, Sprout and more, Paul now lands back on Superordinate with a groovy take on 'Rausch'. From smooth, rhythmic beginnings comes striking percussion and sweeping sonics. Rhythms build and squelchy synths emerge, perfectly setting stage for warm overlays to drive momentum into the break. Fuzzed out textures create moments of hope and reflection as the centrepiece evolves, before a vortex of percussion sparks a timely crescendo and charged final movement. Powerful stuff from Paul which rounds out a must have remix edition for Eddy Tango's 'Rausch' EP. Highly recommended.
