Resident Advisor kick-off charity event at De School

Eight teams will compete for the trophy, with RA, De School, Dekmantel, Rush Hour, Numbers 10,000 HOURS and The All Stars, all money raised will be go to Help Refugee. After recent announcements about our collaboration with The Dutch National Opera and the ADE Green program, we turn our focus to a special event. Football will once again be returning to the gym of Amsterdam night-spot, De School during this year’s ADE. It won’t be children kicking balls around the former school this time however, as Resident Advisor will be hosting the 5-a-side tournament with eight teams comprising of leading music figures, all in the name of charity. Kicking off on Thursday October 20th, the football tournament will take place at Het Gymlokaal - De School’s gymnasium. Electronic Dance Opera Before Present takes place at Noorderlicht on the post-industrial NDSM Shipyard site on ADE's Wednesday and Thursday.  After recent announcements about the The School of Life's ADE participation and the 2016 MusicTalks, it is time for another Playground announcement. For the first time ever, ADE is proud to announce that the Dutch National Opera will be participating in this year’s program. Bringing together the multi-disciplinary aspects that make dance music and opera so equally fantastic, Before Present will present the classical world of opera reinterpreted for a modern, electronic audience. This Fall Beatport introduced 3 new genres to their store: • Dance (Launched now) • Future House (Launched now) • Big Room (Launched now) One of Beatport's main goals with the new genres: to make Progressive House sound like Progressive House again. Dance, Future House, and Big Room will be the home for more mainstream sounds. They'll also be making a few changes to existing genres, too: • Electronica - Renamed to "Electronica / Downtempo" • Chill Out - Removed!
