The 76th release on Sound Avenue finds the label revisiting Madloch's 'Fiction' for a brand new set of remixes. Originally released in August of last year it showcased the beginning of a new sound for the Belgian artist. A fresher approach yielded great results with the EP getting well into Beatport's Top 50 and earning support from Hernan Cattaneo and Nick Warren. Now as 2017 begins to take shape Sound Avenue invites Martin Roth and Simos Tagias to reinvent the track for the new year. Since breaking through in 2009 It's been a storied career for German artist Martin Roth. The Frankfurt born, Berlin based producer quickly became a mainstay of the AnjunaDeep roster, where he has delivered several EPs and remixes since his first appearance in 2010. Now making his much anticipated Sound Avenue debut Martin delivers a cutting edge interpretation of 'Fiction'. Drawing on influences from both progressive and deep house the Berlin based artist reshapes the track into a deep, meditative gr

The 138th release on Tash's Movement Recordings welcomes Jobe to the label for his debut EP. The UK artist is fresh off an incredible year highlighted by releases on Sincopat, Selador and Chapter 24 Records. Now getting 2017 off to a great start Jobe presents his much anticipated debut EP for Movement Recordings entitled 'Poseidon'. Long noted for his character rich sound, Jobe delivers one of his all time best with the lead cut 'Poseidon'. Anchored by tough kicks and waves of wobbly bass the hypnotic sensibilities are evident from the beginning. Detailed percussion brings a great sense of space while a melodious arp further tantalises the senses. It's evolving storyboard is perhaps it's strongest suit as chord changes lift the vibe higher before ethereal vocals and a band of spaced out effects initiate a strong third act finale. The EP's second selection 'Eunis' comes in deeper yet equally emotive. A cavernous low end lays down a warm foundation before eerie synths and soulful

Hot on the heels of it’s elder sibling, we’re very happy to now bring you the second volume of this thrilling two parter. Seven more dance floor delights from the Showcase treasure chest just in time for your New Year celebrations. Label boss Steve Parry gets proceedings underway with the ‘Luna’. He's notoriously fussy, and doesn't release much music, so We're delighted he stopped being such a pain in the butt and gave us another he was happy with. 'Luna' is a hommage to his Liverpool based occasional parties, and here fuses housier elements with plenty of drive, some big stabs, and his hallmark slice of acid for good measure. Its a biggie! The legendary Jaydee then weighs in with ‘Basemento’. A bit of a coup for Selador, as his releases are probably rarer than Steves! Here we find a throbbing bass driven peak time slab of mayhem that will have you gurning like a good un in no time. He's taking no prisoners here thats for sure. Another dance music legend is

Having launched 2016 with his 'Octavia' EP, Lost & Found boss Guy J returns home to kick start 2017, with a new double-header born out of moments in time, inspiration and a quest for a specific sound. "MDQ is named after the airport code of Mar Del Plata in Argentina," says Guy. "I played there with John Digweed earlier this year at MUTE. It's a party on the beach and, for me, was the best I've been to in my life and not just as a DJ." MDQ beautifully recreates and projects the warmth of the sun, uplifting vibes and postive energy that Guy felt on the sand that day. Its melodic charm and passionate delivery lifts the listener, transporting them to that most southern of shores. Diagonal, on the flip, was born more out of necessity. "I needed something with a transitional feel for my sets. A track that would allow me to segue to the next part, up the tempo and deliver a more groovy and seductive magic." Another delicious brace from the Lost & Found boss and a perfect
