An illustrious career stretching over two decades has seen, Chico Shuella, become one of Israel’s most respected and sought after DJs and producers. Operating under his Chicola production moniker, he has transformed the underground house scene in his homeland while making giant strides on a global scale. Surrounded by music from an early age and an accomplished pianist ensured Chicola had a keen ear for musical harmony, as early DJ parties quickly flourished into appearances in Israel’s biggest clubs. Throughout the late 90s, the world renowned “Allenby 58”, situated in the Tel Aviv capital, played host to Chicola’s skills behind the decks as his career blossomed, warming up for such elite artists as Carl Craig, Danny Tenaglia, Sister Bliss and Basement Jaxx. An unparalleled dedication and passion for his craft saw the young Chicola yearning to bring the newest music and brightest underground stars to his homeland by travelling the world’s record shops. ‘Days Gone’ is the highly-anticipated return of core Afterlife act and fans favourite, Mind Against. A year after their ‘Solaris’ EP (AL002), the duo of Alex and Federico Fognini show once again why their moving, supremely-produced tracks are held in such esteem. The title track takes you to another dimension, with a synth line spiralling into cosmic space and drums beating into oblivion. ‘Cloud Nine’, a classy, comparatively-understated cut for the early hours brings the energy back down. Stepping up to remix ‘Cloud Nine’ is Dystopian talent Alex.Do, who strips the sound back and distills the original’s graceful flourishes, completing a high-quality chapter in the Afterlife story. https://soundcloud.com/afterlifeofc/al010-mind-against-days-gone Tracklist: 01. Mind Against - Days Gone 02. Mind Against - Cloud Nine 03. Mind Against - Cloud Nine (Alex.Do Remix) Afterlife will release Days Gone on January 19, 2018.

Quivver launches 'Controlled Substance' as an experimental output to explore his darker musical persona and showcase artists influencing his sound." Its launch release gets straight down to business with one of Quivver's secret dance floor weapons 'The World You Create'. Dark tribal beats meet a swirling hypnotic bass driven soundscape; that will confuse, enthuse and mesmerize; in no particular order. ► YouTube: bit.ly/ProgressiveAstronautSubscribe ► Soundcloud: bit.ly/ProgressiveAstronautSC ► Website: bit.ly/ProgressiveAstronautWEB ► Facebook: bit.ly/ProgressiveAstronautFB ► Twitter: bit.ly/ProgressiveAstronautTW ► Instagram: bit.ly/ProgressiveAstronautIG ► PA Booking Enquiries: management@progressiveastronaut.com Buy: bit.ly/2BH1LgZ Release Date: 11-12-2017 ► Quivver ♫ www.quivvermusic.com/ @quivver_john_graham www.facebook.com/pages/John-Graha…ver/118759175465 www.youtube.com/quivvermusic www.beatport.com/artist/quivver/1811 Tr

One of the world’s most celebrated beach clubs is Warung, and the Brazilian party place also has an esteemed label that deals in futuristic house and tech. Here comes the latest EP to back that up: a three tracker from D-Nox & Beckers that includes a Blancah remix. D-Nox & Beckers have been working together for more than ten years now, releasing on labels like Suara, Tronic and Great Stuff. The German pair have played all over the world as a result, and have picked up many awards as well as turning out plenty of Beatport chart toppers. Beyond Black goes first and is a slippery and rubbery tune with bristling drums and soft slivery hi hats. A nimble lead synth line brings energy and upright moves to the groove and carries you away as soul infused pads bring a real serenity to the mix. The Blancah remix is even more melodic, and one that sends shivers up your spine as you surge through the galaxies. The next original is Surface, a more turbulent tune with edgy chord vamp

On the back of two BIG remixes, label bossmen Spektre are back with a scintillating original. "Forged in the Heart of a Laserbeam" is a sci-fi tinged, trance-infused slice of techno. An unusual, haunting synth sequence morphs and evolves through the track, being joined by epic pads and juddering, gated vocals. The remix package comes courtesy of Skober and Sasha Carassi. Skober stays fairly true to the original with his mix, whilst cranking up the breakbeats in the drop and giving it his unmistakable spin. Sasha Carassi strips things right back, and rebuilds a seriously cool, contemplative cut around the strings and pads. ► YouTube: bit.ly/ProgressiveAstronautSubscribe ► Soundcloud: bit.ly/ProgressiveAstronautSC ► Website: bit.ly/ProgressiveAstronautWEB ► Facebook: bit.ly/ProgressiveAstronautFB ► Twitter: bit.ly/ProgressiveAstronautTW ► Instagram: bit.ly/ProgressiveAstronautIG ► PA Booking Enquiries: management@progressiveastronaut.com Buy: htt

Definition:Music is thrilled to unleashes Teenage Mutants latest dark invader; the Pigalle EP. Stirring within the depths of Pigalle, a battery of chords punctuate the heated techno ambience while a dirty low end growls under a highly charged bed of thick percussion. Pushing onward and upward Pigalle drives a sinister path through a field of late night dancefloor prowess, then creates a scene turning the heat up to a boil and letting loose when the time is right. Next the duo calls on the talented Turkish producer Sezer Uysal for another round with Dominate. Fitting is the title as the track unfurls heaps of energy with its powerful bassline and haunting vocal ambience. The buildup of its rhythmic synths as they dart between the beats and squawk along hard edge of the bassline is irresistible, creating a fever of motion and a satisfying portion of sinister vibes. So when night is young and when were away, Pigalle will come to play. By now were sure it safe to say something wicked come
