Grum – Runaway (Paul Thomas Remix) [Deep State]

Homecomings are always a special thing, and with music it is just the same. After the successful launch of his own imprint Deep State earlier in the year - Grum is celebrating with some epic remixes of the music that started it all - his Heartbeats LP from back in 2010.

Providing the new heat for this 10 year special are Tinlicker and Paul Thomas. Both artists fit in perfectly with the Deep State family.

Remixing such well known music, and taking in a different direction is always a tricky thing. Tinlicker's high energy reworking of Through The Night is progressive genius, twisting the Nu Disco hammer into a finely tuned roller.

Paul Thomas's remix is just as clever, his remix of Runaway (one of the electro monsters on the original album) is devastatingly big. Heavy electronics and a supercharged bassline working in tandem.

Alongside Deep States unique new remixes we are also including music from the original LP in the package. Out this August on Deep State.
