Michael A – Immersion [Genesis Music]

As 2018 winds to a close Genesis Music boss Michael A returns to his home imprint with a much anticipated new single. The Belarus based artist is beloved for his productions on Hernan Cattaneo’s Sudbeat Music and Cid Inc’s Replug Records. Long regarded as a leading artist in the progressive music scene, Michael now presents his latest studio creation ‘Immersion’.

It’s become a regular occurance for Genesis Music to do single track releases and it’s quite refreshing. You certainly need the right track to pull it off and Michael always seems to come up with something special for each offering. ‘Immersion’ finds the Belarus based producer going deep and hypnotic with outstanding results. Some tracks just have a cool vibe, a certain something that is going resonate really well in a dark room and this definitely has that. Smooth and mediative yet pulsating and powerful it’s an eight minute journey that eventually leads to a place of harmonic embrace. With just enough tension the main break sets up a third act of poignant chord changes and nicely executed modulation for what results in a tasteful, contemporary apex. Brilliant work from Michael who has really hit his stride this year. Highly recommended.
