Online rumours among the faithful have been growing for months, building to a fever point of anticipation. Now it can be revealed at last, these two outstanding names of the electronic music scene are to finally combine forces with Sasha’s fabric 99 mix. The producer, DJ, live artist and label head has had a long and close relationship with the iconic club, and his mix compilation, including two unreleased Sasha cuts, marks the penultimate issue of the fabric hundred. 'Getting the chance to do this fabric CD was an honour’ Sasha says. ‘Some of my fondest moments playing in London have been at that club. I really wanted to capture what I do there as I feel it’s somewhere I play differently to anywhere else in the world.' ‘Playing differently’ is Sasha’s trademark approach to his craft. He always seeks new challenges and worlds to conquer, from his seminal 'Scene Delete' album to his darkly melodic DJ sets, alone or with John Digweed, at worldwide

Tim Green returns to Cocoon with his atmospheric and emotive LP titled ‘Her Future Ghost’. Surprisingly, after more than a decade’s successful career, this is his debut album. Dual single ‘Echo / They Want Us To Fall Down’, the first release from the eleven-track LP, drops on April 27th both digitally and on vinyl. A cinematic, emotive production, led by deep chords and rattling percussive sweeps adorned with loop pedals and menacing synths, the two-tracker forms an intriguing foretaste of the LP, due on May 18th.  Making full use of the LP format’s potential, Tim composed ‘Her Future Ghost’ like an electronic soundtrack to a romantic film. My concept and direction for ‘Her Future Ghost’ was to write a film score for a film that doesn’t actually exist,’ says Tim. ‘As an avid film score fan, I wanted to create a body of work that took certain typical soundtrack traits. For example, different motifs that repeat throughout, like character them

Patrice Bäumel returns to Afterlife with two instantly-recognizable, cosmic excursions arranged for big room impact. Building on the far-and-wide success of 'Glutes' last year, Bäumel delivers another singular take on the Afterlife sound. 'The Hatchet', which shone on the Tale Of Us fabric 97 CD, has Bäumel’s signature, tempered drums, slithering FX and masterfully-executed bursts of white noise. With a similar modus operandi, 'Serpent' glides through bright arpeggios, snowballing towards the brilliant climax. A journey through time and space, into the Afterlife. https://soundcloud.com/afterlifeofc/sets/al013-patrice-baumel-the-hatchet-1 Available on 12” vinyl and digital from April 6, 2018.
