Ziger & Mind Conspiracy – The Light [Eat My Hat Music]

Presenting their second release of the year, Eat My Hat Music unveils a new single from Ziger and Mind Conspiracy. 2021 saw the Greek duo flex their collaborative powers, teaming up for two well-received singles entitled 'Your Way' and 'Bitter Sweet', which landed in February and December respectively. With the latter holding a place in the label's top five best sellers on Beatport, Eat My Hat boss Ziger has orchestrated a third and much anticipated joint project with Mind Conspiracy entitled 'The Light', alongside a remix from label artist Eleven Of July.

Beginning with the Original Mix, Ziger and Mind Conspiracy demonstrate just how strong their creative synergy has become. Led by a smooth groove, sleek rhythms and astral synth stylings, its cosmic nature captivates from the outset. Warm and inviting across the first act, a melodic sensibility rises as flickering sonics and sweeping effects blanket the charged groove. Stripping down into the main break, the duo digs further into their emotive repertoire, by introducing colourful arps and a heartfelt vocal, resulting in the ultimate dance floor moment, before eventually giving way to a rush of drums for a euphoric finale.

Returning to the label and providing the lone interpretation of 'The Light' is August Proto aka Eleven Of July. November of last year marked the Italian artist's Eat My Hat debut with a three-track showcase entitled 'Fearless'. Now embarking on his fifth year as professional producer, August has continued to go from strength to strength, landing releases via Awen Recordings, Beyond Now, Movement Recordings and Us and Them Records, while earning the praise of andME, Dj Tennis, Dubfire, Undercatt and more. Continuing to build a bond with Eat My Hat as 2022 takes shape, Eleven Of July now returns to the label with a powerful rendition of 'The Light'. Fluid and groovy in equal measure, it's a mix that carries the sensibility of the original, while adding more of a melodic techno vibe through tougher beats, unique sonic artifacts and otherworldly effects. Building beautifully into the break, shimmering arps and a ghostly vocal take centrestage, adding further to its emotive sensibility, before a billowing drop spearheads a glowing finale. A stunning rendition from the fast-rising Italian artist, rounding out another must have offering from Ziger's Eat My Hat Music.
