It's been an exceptional year for the Swiss imprint, a more prolific release schedule has seen the label continue to rise through the progressive underground. New artist additions like Aman Anand, Christian Monique, Kay-D, Monojoke, NOIYSE PROJECT and rAin have all made standout contributions. Now as the year winds to a close the label lays down one of their biggest collections to date with 'Winter Vibes' 2020. After months of carefully curating submissions, label boss Bynomic has settled on a 42 track compilation, resulting in a cohesive fusion of progressive artists from across the world. Adding another dimension to the project is label artist Clark Wohlert who has mixed all the selections into a four hour journey which you can enjoy via Spotify. Based in Cologne, the German artist is a resident at the city's premiere venue 'Friesen Club', in addition to playing some of Germany's biggest festivals. Having released his 'Mondfeuchte' EP with the label earlier this year he took on the daunting task of preparing the mix portion of the release. Beginning with hypnotic selections from Xiasou, Ramin Helvet, Hernán Torres and Pad One, Clark expertly builds momentum across the mix with nicely timed peaks and valley's, while carefully dropping in selections from label stalwarts like Blue Cell, Bynomic, Echo Babylon, Kenshi Kamaro, Stan Seba and Tenerfuse just to name a few. Another Life always seems to be looking to add fresh talent to their roster, and we see several artist debuts here who find a home in the mix, most notably Edvard Hunger, Fiddler, Iberican Storm and Sinan Arsan. The anticipatory sounds of Clark's own 'Mondfeuchte' appropriately sets up an emotive finale where Leo Delgado's 'Monarque' brings a multitude of reflective moments, particularly during the break, which serves as a moment to look back on the journey and enjoy a glowing finale. It is perhaps a fitting end not only for the release but to an incredible year of growth which Another Life Music has enjoyed. Now poised to enter 2021 with a full and much anticipated schedule. A release of this magnitude doesn't come along that often and is generally reserved for larger imprints like Armada or Toolroom, particularly with the addition of a four hour DJ mix.
