The 46th release on Clubsonica Records finds label artist Soluna presenting his new alias Armandhe. The Colombian producer has been a primary contributor to the Colombian imprint since making his debut in November of 2016 with 'Sunset In Udaipur'. Known for his evolving, evocative journeys, Soluna now returns to Clubsonica, presenting his first EP under the Armandhe moniker, alongside remixes from Simos Tagias and Suntech and Jhonny LP.

Regarded by both his fans and contemporaries as a master storyteller, Soluna has an uncanny ability to craft articulate yet soulful voyages. The lead track 'Sacred Heart' is yet another eloquent masterpiece. Its DJ friendly intro builds anticipation through afro tinged drums and organic design, before a cross cultural vocal motif shifts energy into a strong melodious rhythm. Evolving with an impassioned edge, warm bass swells and subtle modular shifts push the emotive envelope as the main break commences. Played out in excess of two minutes, the track's centrepiece is one of intense yet zealous beauty, as the vocal narrative peaks and the main theme melts down to a bed of sonic fuzz, setting up a magical drop and stirring finale.

The companion piece 'Ozadya' is equally compelling with its mystical overtones and dulcet themes. On a bed of rolling bass lays percussive splashes and vibrant melodic clusters. Playful yet mysterious the first act evolves with a pulsating, meditative flow, eventually stripping down into a poignant centrepiece. Airy and musical yet filled with dramatic undertones the main break is a story within a story, building in waves of bass and percussion as the top line peaks and a tasteful drop seals it's brilliance.

The first interpretation of 'Ozadya' is provided by Simos Tagias who is making his label debut. The Greek artist has been one of his country's brightest stars in progressive house with a discography that features releases on Hernan Cattaneo's Sudbeat Music, Proton Music and Sound Avenue. It has been a quiet year for Simos thus far with just a lone EP release thus making his remix here even more anticipated. The Greek artist has become a master at setting atmosphere and the first act does just that. Moody yet electric, its cascading themes, dynamic fills and atmospheric progression are undeniably captivating. It's this omnipresent vibe which carries into the main break before converging with fuzzed out swells for a moment of accelerated emotion.

The second and final interpretation of 'Ozadya' is provided by Suntech and Jhonny LP who are also making their Clubsonica debut. Hailing from Colombia, the duo has been studio partners since 2014 and have found a home on Onestar Records where their unique take on progressive music has flourished. Now stepping up for their Clubsonica debut, the duo delivers a powerful rendition of 'Ozadya' to close the release out. Backed by a rolling groove it's seamless flow is filled with subtle shades and tones. Earthy stabs sit in wondrous contrast to the vibrant lead, punctuated by an intense build during a heart stopping second act. A potent remix from Suntech and Jhonny LP which rounds out a superb offering once again for Clubsonica, one which has initiated a new journey for Soluna as Armandhe.
