Sapiens – Odishon (Michael A Remix) [Yin]

Tripp Baronner's Yin imprint begins the new year with a fresh interpretation of 'Odishon' by Sapiens. The digital division of Baroque Records originally released the track in March of last year as part of the Israeli artist's 'Reservoir Gods' EP. Now Yin invites one of progressive music's brightest stars in Michael A to re-interpret the track for 2019.

The Belarus based artist is beloved for his productions on Hernan Cattaneo’s Sudbeat Music and Cid Inc’s Replug Records. Now considered one of the scene's most consistent and also prolific artists Michael began the year with a stunning remix for Juicebox Music. That momentum continues here with an equally inspired take on 'Odishon'. Deep and spacious, the groove commands a large presence as a wave of tonal tension and a delicate arpeggio lie in stark contrast to one another. Evolving across a well timed break the arp gradually opens up for an understated yet measured amount of drama, perfectly setting up a finale which is both groovy and a touch emotive. A classy remix from Michael with a slight nod to the original and a look forward into the future. Highly recommended.
