Releases Monojoke – Paradisum [Electronic Tree] By Release Promo Posted on 2nd September 2017 0 second read 0 0 Share on Facebook Share on Twitter Share on Reddit Share on Linkedin The latest release from Tuxedo's Electronic Tree imprint welcomes Monojoke back to label for a brand new single. The Polish artist last appeared on the Polish imprint in October of 2016 with a remix of Daniel Glover's 'Pieces of the Sky'. 2017 has been filled with quality productions, included several collaborations with Tuxedo (as Fluente) which have found their way onto Knee Deep In Sound and Sudbeat. Now Monojoke presents his latest solo single entitled 'Paradisum' alongside remixes from GBrown, DJ Beat2 and Alex Morelli. if you're a diehard progressive house fan it's hard to go wrong with Monojoke. The Polish artist has a great vibe about this music and it also translates well on a dance floor as A list DJs Hernan Cattaneo and Guy J have demonstrated on many occasions. His latest 'Paradisum' is another well crafted journey; complete with a romping groove, organic percussion and lively melodic elements. It's got the dirty, electric vibe that Monojoke has become so known for, which in the right frame of mind sounds absolute cosmic. A fine selection of remixes add nicely to the release beginning with GBrown who is making his label debut following a string of strong releases on Suffused Music. The US artist puts an old school spin the track with a chugging groove, expansive effects and cascading tones leading the way. The transition into the main break is particularly powerful, as the beats fade off in the distance and a swirling band of noise eventually carries you to a killer drop. Great remix from GBrown. Next up is one of India's fastest rising talents DJ Beat2 who also makes his label debut here. In addition to being one of his country's most well known DJs Beat2 also has a short but impressive discography highlighted by releases on Hernan Cattaneo's Sudbeat Music and Lonya's Asymmetric Recordings. The future certainly looks bright and a strong interpretation of 'Paradisum' only re-enforces that. The first thing you notice is the production quality here, very open and spacious which allows all the great percussive elements to breath wonderfully. Beat2's time behind the decks has served him well as the rhythmic core of the track has a strong dance floor sensibility, while the melodic elements do just enough to illicit great emotion without being overbearing. A classy remix from Beat2 who is definitely building a strong presence in the progressive house underground. The release concludes with Alex Morelli who is returning to the label for his second appearance. The Argentinean artist first appeared on the Polish imprint with his 'Melt' single from April of this year. Now following releases on Aethereal and Consapevole Recordings Alex returns, closing the release out with a great interpretation of 'Paradisum'. Long noted for his trance influenced sound the Argentine fuses melodies and groove wonderfully here, upping the musicality and emotion without losing sight of the dance floor. The main break stands out as delicate keys and smooth bass swells converge for an amazing moment. Gorgeous remix from Alex which rounds out a great release from Electronic Tree. Don't miss it.
