New official remix of Edu Imbernon for the band The xx. The new re-work is for the song “Lips” included in the last album of the British band entitled “I See You” (Young Turks, 2017). It is nothing more and nothing less than the third time he does it! He already remixed “Crystalised”  in 2010 and “Reunion” in 2013. It is an honor that the group led by Jamie Smith aka Jamie xx continues to trust Edu Imbernon even if the years go by. In Edu’s own words: “This is now my third remix of maybe my favourite band of the current times, the xx. Back in 2010 I was honoured to remix “Crystalised” from their first album, and working on that changed my perspective on making music. Alan Fitzpatrick’s We Are The Brave celebrated its 10th release in November and to close out a truly outstanding year, they continue to set the standards higher than ever, welcoming Sasha to the WATB family this December. ‘Sasha and I got to hang out a little through 2016 at various gigs we played together and the idea for the collaboration was born’ Alan says. ‘I have been a Sasha fan for some time, so for this collab to now be actually happening and for it to have come together pretty quickly, given our crazy our touring schedules, just goes to show that dreams can come true if you want them bad enough.’ The release features one original track, with two outstanding versions, and is a true example of the work, exploration and compromise that goes into musical collaboration. ‘It was great to collaborate with Alan’ Sasha says. ‘We kept going back and forth, sharing ideas, trying different melodies, synths and beats. The world-renowned museum's Bicycle Passage will once again be turned into a temporary club on ADE's Friday. After recent announcements on ADE Sound Lab and ADE Dance & Brands, it is time for exciting news for a one-off show in the city centre. On ADE's Friday, a unique performance by one of electronic music’s legendary acts, Underworld will take place in the world-renowned Rijksmuseum. In this one-off free event, orchestrated by Audio Obscura, the museum’s iconic Bicycle Passage will provide the backdrop for the band’s live show. This will be a rare opportunity to see the group up close and personal as the space is transformed into an intimate club venue, playing host to a limited crowd of music lovers. Following on from last year’s ADE event in the same space, the show provides a platform for the museum to engage with new and exciting audiences, enabled by Audio Obscura’s mission of bringing dance music artists to historic and cultural venues.
