Or Two Strangers third release of the year finds label boss Antrim returning for a new single. The Argentinean artist had an exceptional year in 2021. The Cordoba resident racked up an impressive string of releases for Beat Boutique, Clubsonica, onedotsixtwo, Plattenbank and Vapour. Highlighting the year however was the release of ‘Beat2Be’, Antrim’s debut album which came courtesy of Sudbeat Music and featured sought after collaborations with Analog Jungs, Ezequiel Arias, Marcelo Vasami, Nicolas Rada and more. Also busy on the touring front, an extended stay in Mexico saw the Argentine play alongside electronic music legends Hernan Cattaneo and Nick Warren. Firmly sitting in progressive music’s elite class of producers as 2022 began, Antrim then delivered one of the year’s most gorgeous releases in ‘Seek the Sun’, also coming courtesy of his Or Two Strangers imprint. Now fresh off the release of his latest Sudbeat vehicle ‘Stax’, Antrim calls upon the vocal talents of Paula OS to remake Olive’s ‘You’re Not Alone’.

Originally released in 1996 via RCA Records, Olive’s ‘You’re Not Alone’ would have to be considered one of the nineties most recognizable dance hits. Remixed by a host of top tier artists, from X-Press 2 and Rollo & Sister Bliss to Paul Oakenfold and Roni Size, it reached number one in the UK Singles chart and has forever been remembered for its haunting vocals and esoteric melodies. Now, over twenty-five years on from its initial release, Antrim and occasional collaborator Paula OS bring a contemporary progressive context to the track. Full warm grooves and clattering percussive arrangements set the course for percolating effects and waves of textural overlays. Paula’s vocals ring out in timeless suspension, recalling the original's most defining moments, as those iconic echoey chords glow in all their majesty. With the original version being a track which drew occasional electronic music fans deep into the genre's far reaching vortex, Antrim and Paula have more than captured that magic in a modern dance floor headspace, perfectly carrying forward the legacy of this inimitable production. Don’t miss it.
