Analog Jungs ft. Abi Ferraresi – Satori [Or Two Strangers]

Following a three-month hiatus Antrim’s Or Two Strangers imprint returns with a new single from Analog Jungs. The Argentinean duo have been a primary artist on the Cordoba imprint since making their debut in 2016 on the label’s third release. A string of successful outings over the next four years peaked with last year’s heartfelt ‘Liria’. Remixed by Colombian star Kamilo Sanclemente and played by a long list of progressive music tastemakers, it led off a year that saw Analog Jungs appear on 3rd Avenue, Clubsonica Records, Mango Alley and onedotsixtwo. Also laying claim to releases on Nick Warren’s The Soundgarden, Analog Jungs now return to Or Two Strangers with ‘Satori’.

Diversifying their portfolio further, Analog Jungs collaborate with Abi Ferraresi for the vocal led anthem ‘Satori’. Following an intro of plush pianos and cinematic atmospheres comes a bed of warm beats and rippling bass tones. Effortlessly rising, waves of percussion and rhythmic pulses set the stage for Abi’s sublime chops to deliver their magic. Soulful and impassioned, the Argentine’s mystical phrasing highlights the main break, drifting across an underbelly of muted piano’s and rolling percussion, before a warm rush ushers in a glowing finale. For the less vocally inclined Analog Jungs have also included an instrumental version to round out the release. A stunning creation from the Argentinean duo and one you’re no doubt going to hear during the warm summer months ahead. Highly recommended.
