Releases Various Artists – Celestial V [Astral Records] By Release Promo Posted on 20 hours ago 10 min read 0 0 Share on Facebook Share on Twitter Share on Reddit Share on Linkedin Closing out the month of March, Astral Records unveils the fourth installment of their 'Celestial' series. Continuing their highly stylized brand of melodic house and techno, the label continues to push the boundaries of this burgeoning genre, while never losing sight of the cosmic qualities that has made the sound so appealing to many. With an emphasis on melody and emotion, Astral Records continues the success of 2024's 'Celestial IV', a collection which also celebrated the label’s three year anniversary, with the much anticipated fourth edition, featuring (in order of appearance) Maywell, Redot, U.NID, Wailey, Paul Anthonee and Acrobatik & Fernandez. The collection’s first selection is provided by Maywell who makes his label debut. Hailing from Mexico, Maywell has risen out of his country’s melodic house and techno underground as a talent to watch. Releases via deep dip, Freegrant Music and Settlement have forecasted a powerful club-effective sound currently on rotation with the genre’s tastemakers. Now, getting 2025 off to a promising start, Maywell makes his Astral debut with the edgy peak time offering ‘Genos’. For selection two we travel to Israel and welcome Redot to the label for their first appearance. Kfir Lankry and Elior Sabbah make up the Redot production team and arrive on the strength of releases via Area Verde and ERRORR. Known for their innovative soundscapes and pulsating rhythms, the Israeli duo have created their own unique sonic aesthetic, one that blends cutting-edge technology with deeply emotional melodies and aggressive sound design, creating tracks that resonate both on the dance floor and in the hearts of their listeners. Now continuing on an upwards trajectory as 2025 approaches its second quarter, Redot makes their Astral Records debut with retro acid-inspired sounds of ‘SOS’. The release’s third selection finds U.NID making his label debut with ‘Astral’. Hailing from Greece, U.NID emerged in 2024’s fourth quarter with releases via Coalescentia and Lamia Recordings. Noted for his seamless fusion of captivating melodies, driving rhythms, and intricate basslines, the Athens resident was quickly tipped as one of Greece’s rising melodic house and techno talents. Also an accomplished DJ, U.NID has shared the stage with some of the genre’s most highly regarded artists in Goom Gum, Gheist, Miss Monique and Oostil. With 2025 getting underway with ‘Moving Forward’, a single for Photonic Music, U.NID now makes his Astral debut with the Adriatique supported sounds of ‘Astral’. Based in Egypt, Wailey marks the collection’s fourth debutant, landing on the label with his latest studio creation ‘High Current’. A rising force within his country’s electronic music scene, Wailey has carved out a significant niche for himself with his own brand of melodic house and techno. His penchant for sculpted basslines and memorable lead themes has subsequently seen over a century of production credits dating back to 2020. Since then, releases on stellar imprints such as Miss Monique’s Siona Records, Timeless Moment, and UV Noir have seen Wailey’s name feature heavily on the playlists of a growing number of influential DJs. Now, making his Astral Records debut, Wailey unveils the prophetic club-effective sounds of ‘High Current’. Winding down to selection five it is label manager Paul Anthonee who returns to Astral with ‘Invicta’. With a career that now spans over two decades, Cyprus based artist Paul Anthonee has achieved global recognition for his distinct sonic signature, often creating a complex rollercoaster of intricate yet club effective melodic house and techno. Tale Of Us, Maceo Plex, Carl Cox, Innellea, Fideles and Kevin De Vries, amongst others, have praised his work, while Eleatics, Ritual, Running Clouds, Steyoyoke and UV Noir have all been a home to his far-reaching creations. In recent years however, Astral has served as the primary landing spot for his most in demand productions. With 2025 getting underway with a remix of ‘Mantra’ by Che Jose, Paul now returns to his Astral home with the charged beats and pyrotechnic synths of ‘Invicta’. Rounding out the collection are Acrobatik & Fernandez who present their first ever collaboration. Hailing from Brazil, Acrobatik and Fernandez have both achieved measurable success across their respective careers. A combined discography highlighted by releases via Ame Records, Hiato Music, Lelantus, Purified and Running Clouds have solidified the duo’s place amongst melodic house and techno’s most promising talents. With Fernandez making his Astral Records debut with ‘Vortex’, a 2024 release alongside fellow countryman Moonphazes, the Brazilian talent now pairs with label newcomer Acrobatik, for the anthemic chord stabs and triplet grooves of ‘Horizon’.
