Releases Various Artists – Resonarium #002 [Soundteller Records] By Release Promo Posted on 29th August 2022 6 min read 0 0 Share on Facebook Share on Twitter Share on Reddit Share on Linkedin Rounding out the month of August, Deersky's Soundteller Records presents the second edition of their freshly coined 'Resonarium' series. With the first installment landing in May of this year it does in some ways build on the success of Soundteller's long running 'Vibrant Vibeland' series, which now sits at nineteen editions after first coming to fruition almost a decade ago. The second installment of 'Resonarium' lands with resounding success, showcasing new music from Serge Landar, Cami'L, Alfred, Symphonic Trauma, Eclept, Tronickz, Stereo Munk, Dublew, Vishnu (Lk), Aavez, Artem Kal, KIII RODRÍGUEZ, Lucas Zárate, Brandon Scarbrough, Marley Hughes & Rich Towers, Agustin Delsoglio, Vusall Insun, Rod V, UCCELLI, Fer Torti and Hernan Paszco & Franco Mohr. Although the label has had periods of releasing both organic and melodic house, here we see them stick to their progressive minded roots for the most part. Ukrainian artist Serge Landar impresses here with one of his best works to date. This percussive progressive creation sets the tone for the entire release which sees another standout in Eclept, deliver a club stomping cut similar to his work for Diynamic and Elevate, while Stereo Munk, Dublew, Vishnu (Lk) and Aavez deliver a trippy arptastic roller which should captivate late night listeners. 'Thru the Lenz' from Brandon Scarbrough is a standout organic cut with some wistful motifs and customary nature themes setting the backdrop, while Lucas Zárate delivers one of the collection's most memorable breakdowns on 'Dimensions'. Newcomers Symphonic Trauma release their first track in 'Blurred Illusion' which lands in nostalgic progressive fashion, whereas Ghana born, London based Tronickz lays down what might be the collection's dreamiest creation 'Placerea', which should provide magic in the morning hours. Ultimately though, there is something memorable to take from every track here depending on which way you lean and with a wealth of new talent there will be some future heroes to emerge from this sprawling eighteen track voyage.
