Following its debut in 2021, Clubsonica's Various Artists Sampler Series is now a regular and much anticipated offering in the label's catalog, operating as an extension to the imprint’s MMW and ADE showcases. The trending series has been a platform not only for a wide assortment of upcoming talent, but continues to add some of progressive music's most notable names with each successive edition. Genre veterans Golan Zocher, Greenage, Kamilo Sanclemente, Ric Niels and Ruben Karapetyan, amongst others, have all graced Clubsonica's much sought after Sampler Series, sitting alongside a carefully curated blend of talented up and comers. Now embarking on their seventh edition as 2025 begins to take shape, Clubsonica boss Juan Pablo Torrez has compiled the series' most anticipated volume to date, featuring new music from (in order of appearance): David Podhel, Noise Generation, Greta Meier, K Loveski, Nicolas Benedetti, Phillipe Lois, Surmillo and GAU. Getting the release underway are David Podhel and Noise Generation who make their label debut with ‘Intersection’. Hailing from Mexico, David Podhel first emerged a decade ago with a series of releases for Nicholas Van Orton's BCSA. His timeless progressive sound quickly caught the attention of the genre's diehard fanbase, leading to future projects for Droid9, Kitchen Recordings, Mango Alley and Manual Music, firmly establishing him as one of Mexico’s premiere progressive house talents. Meanwhile, hailing from Sri Lanka, Noise Generation has achieved measurable success across his first year as a producer. Noted for his nostalgic progressive sound, the Colombo resident has quickly compiled an expansive resume of more than 150 credits, landing key releases via Freegrant Music, One Of A Kind, Timeless Moment and his own Noise In Harmony imprint. Still in his infancy as a producer, the rising Sri Lankan now pairs with David Podhel for their Clubsonica debut ‘Intersection’, a track fuelled by charged grooves, panoramic arps and trippy atmospheric refrains. Selection two finds Greta Meier making her label debut with ‘Modulator’. Hailing from Argentina, Greta has emerged from her country's electronic music landscape, staking her claim as a future great in South America’s burgeoning progressive house scene. Noted for her deep grooves and emotive musicality, Greta's craft shines through vividly, as she has carved out a unique path since making her production debut in 2019. A short but meticulous discography showcasing superlative releases via 3rd Avenue, BCSA, Mango Alley and Timeless Moment have been well-received, earning play and support from genre tastemakers. Also an accomplished DJ, the Cordoba resident has been a fixture of Argentina’s nightlife, showcasing her keen sense of dancefloor dynamics alongside elite talents in Artbat, Guy J, Guy Mantzur, John Digweed, Hernán Cattaneo and Nora En Pure, amongst others. With 2025 getting underway with ‘Benevolence’, a single recorded alongside Sebastian Sellares for UV, Greta now makes her Clubsonica debut with the deep poignant sounds of ‘Modulator’. Moving forward to selection three, occasional studio partners K Loveski and Nicolas Benedetti present their latest collaborative effort ‘Tarab’. Russian artist K Loveski has been a beloved figure of the progressive house underground for well over a decade. A series of releases for Omid 16B’s Alola Records spearheaded what has been a fourteen-year creative swell. The Saint-Petersburg resident now boasts a resume highlighted by releases via Nick Warren’s The Soundgarden, Balance Music, Mango Alley and Or Two Strangers, while also earning the support of Guy J, Hernan Cattaneo and Nick Warren along the way. Meanwhile, Argentinean artist Nicolas Benedetti has enjoyed a quick rise since first emerging in 2019, with releases via 3rd Avenue, Droid9 and Strangers Beats setting his career in motion. Moving forward, the Buenos Aires resident would quickly earn the praise of progressive music tastemakers Alex O'Rion, Hernan Cattaneo, Mariano Mellino, Nick Warren, Nicolas Rada and more, while landing key projects via Hoomidaas, Movement Recordings and Univack. Having been paired together previously for Antrim’s Or Two Strangers, K Loveski and Nicolas Benedetti now continue their collaborative partnership for Clubsonica with ‘Tarab’, a slice of peak time progressive house, complete with charged grooves, colourful effects and infectious melodies. The collection’s forth selection finds Clubsonica debutant Phillipe Lois presenting his latest studio creation ‘Inner Dialogue’. Based in the label’s home country of Colombia, Phillipe Lois entered the world of electronic music as a DJ first. With more than a decade’s worth of experience behind the decks, the Cali resident’s curiosity eventually pulled him into the realms of music production. With a borderless style that often borrows sensibilities from deep and progressive house to trance and electronica, Phillipe has made great strides since making his production debut in 2020. Established imprints in Peace Symphonies, Sommersville, Sound Avenue and Sun Theory have all been outlets for Phillipe’s timeless dancefloor approach. With 2024 being highlighted by a remix of ‘Inner Encounters’ by fellow countryman Arbey Gonzalez, Phillipe now begins 2025 making his Clubsonica debut with trance-inducing sounds of ‘Inner Dialogue’. The release concludes with Surmillo and GAU making their debut with ‘Complete Me’. Cyprus based artist Surmillo has travelled a less than conventional path since his first release in 2019. With a discography that features progressive, organic and melodic house & techno, through to indie dance and electronica, Surmillo would have to be considered one of his country's most versatile talents. Key projects via Buttress, BAU_HAUS, Diynamic, Melody Lab and Suprematic have been instrumental in showcasing his artistic adaptability, in turn earning support from Meduza and Solomun, amongst others. Carrying that momentum into the new year, Surmillo pairs with vocalist GAU for their Clubsonica debut ‘Complete Me’, a deeply engaging journey into hypnotic house.
