Presenting their second release of the year, Nature Rec welcomes Ryan (AR) to the label for his debut EP. Born in Argentina but now based in Spain, Ryan (AR) found his footing quickly following his debut release on Clinique Recordings in 2019. The Barcelona resident took his deep sound to top tier destinations such as The Soundgarden and Hoomidaas, while earning the support of world class DJs Hernan Cattaneo and Nick Warren. Now following a collaborative EP with Not Demure to begin the year, Ryan (AR) makes his Nature Rec debut with 'Winds of Harmony', alongside remixes from Ismaehl & Replicanth and Domingo +.

Beginning with the title selection Ryan (AR) crafts an organic house cut of the highest order. Peaceful qualities emanate through heartfelt melodies and blustery harmonics, perfectly anchored by a warm, energetic groove and sparse yet driving percussion. A tasteful build carries into the break, eventually giving way to a showcase of the lead theme amidst the transcendent sounds of nature, before percussive lines set the course for a joyous finale. The companion piece 'Blood Ties' goes deeper and more organic with uniquely textured percussion, bubbly grooves and an organ-like drone which slowly shape-shifts it's way to your heart. Clustered melodies rise coming out of the main break, almost kaleidoscopic in design and completely dazzling across a heavenly final act.

The lone interpretation of 'Winds of Harmony' is provided by Ismaehl & Replicanth who return to the label for their second appearance. Renowned for their releases via Akbal Music, Clubsonica, Monday Social and more, the Mexican duo notched their first project for Nature in June of 2021 with the release of 'Sumeria'. Now returning for their first remix, the duo provide a unique take on 'Winds of Harmony'. Bringing the tempo down a touch, Ismaehl & Replicanth reshape the groove into something more bulbous and funky, while the main melody and a strong percussive cadence work magic in translating that message to the dance floor.

Rounding out the release with the lone interpretation of 'Blood Ties' is Domingo + who makes his label debut. As one half of the Mariner + Domingo duo, American artist Chris Domingo has compiled an impressive resume across an eighteen-month stretch. Upon making his debut on Balkan Connection in July of 2020, the Florida resident went on a remarkable run, landing releases via 3rd Avenue, Proton Music, RYNTH, Sound Avenue and The Purr, while earning support from Lee Burridge, Sebastien Leger and Tim Green. Now following his first solo endeavor for Sound Avenue, Domingo + continues on that path with his first remix project under the new moniker. All the production hallmarks which have made Chris so popular reign supreme here, with live sounding drums, warm shapely grooves, soulful vocal wails and a summery melodic disposition coming together for a magical seven-minute rendition. Although the musical elements are plentiful, Chris always dials them in with just the right temperament, not using a sledgehammer to crack open an egg goes a long way in winning over an astute dance floor. Stellar stuff from Domingo + which caps off an excellent second release of the year for Nature Rec.
