Based in the Netherlands, Ricardo de Graaf aka Rikk Earth has been a fixture of the progressive house underground for the better part of a decade. A long run of releases via LuPS Records firmly established his sound which often utilized trance-inspired elements. In recent years however Rikk has been incorporating more of an organic flavor to his music, a sound which has seen make an appearance on Hoomidaas' 'Hoom Side of the Moon' collection. Now, continuing on that trajectory of sound, Rikk makes his Stellar Fountain debut with 'Never Fall', alongside remixes from Alberto Hernandez (MX) and Marley Hughes. The original mix lands in impressive fashion with a bevy of great organic qualities. Nicely manicured percussion, soft musical phrasing and a spirited narrative which builds, evolves and evokes emotion along the way. The break is expectedly gorgeous with non-specific vocal elements and misty atmospheres creating a heartfelt vibe which runs through the finale. Remix number one finds Alberto Hernandez returning to the label following his remix of 'Deep in the Valley' by Deepness in 2021. Now, armed with a discography that includes Akbal Music, All Day I Dream, Hoomidaas, Songuara, Tale & Tone and more, the Mexican artist takes 'Never Fall' straight to the dancefloor, with beefed up beats, vibrant percussion and a soulful disposition which is sure to win over all the daytime dancefloors out there. Rounding out the release is Marley Hughes who returns to the label following his remix of Tojogo's 'Floating Far From Shore'. The Aussie artist continues his prolific ways this year with a great complement to the previous two mixes; reprocessing the vocal elements into wispy trails, while soaring instrumentation and a nature-centric backdrop make for a gorgeous conclusion to the release.
