Miraculum returns to his comfortable home of Stellar Fountain for a new single alongside remixes from Cosmonaut and Epsen. The Budapest resident recently released his 'All The Things I've Done' single via Serbia's progressive powerhouse Balkan Connection, while also laying claim to 2019 outings on Clinique Recordings, Golden Wings Music, Massive Harmony Records and Spring Tube. Now as the year winds to a close, Miraculum returns to Stellar Fountain with 'Sunstill'.

Miraculum productions often vary in style and emotion but I've often thought he's at his best when shooting for the latter. 'Sunstill' is a perfect example of this with it's trippy effects, heartfelt melodies and wispy atmospherics. This beautiful collage of sound is backed by an enormous key changing groove packed full of shape and character. Undeniably nostalgic, the main break radiates wonderful warmth through that low end and glassy clusters, ultimately melting down to a gentle rumble, before an understated drop takes you into a dreamy finale. Perhaps one of Miraculum's most poignant creations of year.

First up on the remixes is Cosmonaut who has the distinction of delivering two of the label's all time best selling tracks. The Russian artist took to remixing Alfonso Muchacho and Underground Ticket, both of which still occupy almost his entire Beatport Top 10 Best Selling tracks. Now trying to keep that incredible run going the Russian artist provides an inspired take on 'Sunstill'. Utilizing the elements in a more direct context not only brings the production closer to a main room dance floor but has it bursting with positive vibes. Shimming arps, effervescent effects and timely melodic clusters make for a euphoric first act, perfectly setting up a captivating break where the main elements breathe and muted kicks lead to an exhilarating finale.

Rounding out the release is Espen who provides the second and final interpretation of 'Sunstill'. The Norwegian artist is making his fifth appearance on the label following a remix of Oliver Lieb's 'WASP-17b' from July of last year. Fresh off another well received remix for Color Ray and Proton Music, Espen provides a gorgeous interpretation of 'Sunstill'. It sits nicely between the two previous mixes in terms of energy and drive, with the focus being on rhythmic elements without losing any of the musical appeal. Although brief, a moderately tense break ups the dramatic mood of the piece before smooth segueing into a hypnotic final act. Another brilliant remix from an artist that never quite receives the praise he deserves. It caps off a welcome return to Stellar Fountain for label boss Miraculum, who once again provides us with a unique and inspired slice of progressive house. Highly recommended.
