Now returning to his comfortable home of Genesis Music, Michael presents his latest single 'Ruins'. Already received praise from DJs pre-release 'Ruins' finds Michael crafting a groovy, melodic number. Backed by a chunky, spacious foundation it's perfectly contoured bass stabs provide all the momentous roll you could ever want. Layers of percussion and an effervescent sheen give it a charming glow as melodic fragments begin to fill in the framework. Dreamy yet powerful, the centrepiece furthers the narrative with tasteful modulation and a lone vocal stab which eventually sparks a compelling finale act.
