Continuing to add fresh new talent to their roster Ruben Karapetyan’s RKP welcomes Max Dumont to the label for his debut single. Hailing from Argentina, Maximiliano Dumont aka Max Dumont is at the beginning of his production journey. With roots in Cordoba but now calling La Falda home, Max was raised in an artistic environment. His father, who was a DJ, transmitted his love and passion for electronic music, inspiring Max to learn production at the young age of 14. Now armed with a groovy yet hypnotizing sound, Max embarks on his first ever release, debuting on RKP with ‘Maht Hild’, alongside remixes from Around Us and Stereo Munk & Dublew.

Beginning with the melodic vibes of the original mix, Max’s craftsmanship reveals itself as clattering percussion and fragmented synth mutations blanket warm kick drums and muscular grooves. Building momentum quickly, its powerful drive gets peppered with skittering rhythms, glowing overlays and granular effects. Looking to showcase his dancefloor vision, the Argentine brings greater emotional depth across the break, riding a wave of melodic colour through rejuvenating chord stabs and fuzzed out synth phrasing; a clever coax of sound which ultimately carries the piece to an uplifting finale.

Making their label debut with the first interpretation of ‘Maht Hild’ are Around Us. Based in Amsterdam, Around Us first emerged in 2018, quickly establishing themselves as a rising act with releases via Balkan Connection's BC2, LuPS Records and Magnitude Recordings. World class DJ and progressive music tastemaker Hernan Cattaneo was the first to chime in with support, showcasing one of the duo's early productions 'Sleeping Blue' as part of his hugely popular Resident podcast. Fast forward five years and Around Us is now well established in the progressive house underground, with an impressive resume highlighted by appearances on Clubsonica, Freegrant, Mango Alley, Manual Music and Sound Avenue. Coming off a year which saw the duo operate at their most creative and prolific to date, Around Us continues that momentum into 2025 with an inspired take on ‘Maht Hild’. The duo’s veteran production chops serve them well here as they craft an eight-minute journey that’s buzzing with a keen sense of rhythm and groove. Flowing through phasing textures and percolating arps, the first act evolves with an effortless ease, eventually revealing an emotive break complete with a tasteful marriage of haunting vocal gates and creamy melodies; an appealing amalgamation of sound that is sure captivate even the most discerning of dancefloors.

Rounding out the release with the second and final interpretation of ‘Maht Hild’ are Stereo Munk and Dublew. Based in Pakistan, Stereo Munk and Dublew have been frequent collaborators for the better part of five years. Often finding a creative balance between progressive and organic house, the duo has taken their superlative sound to well established imprints such as 3rd Avenue, Mango Alley and Movement Recordings, while earning support from genre trendsetter Hernan Cattaneo. Continuing to deliver fresh music across 2024, Stereo Munk and Dublew continue their creative partnership as 2025 takes shape, making their RKP debut with a grooved out rendition of ‘Maht Hild’. Opting for a deeper and dubbier approach, the duo’s rich design qualities, swaying rhythms and quirky post-break sonics make this ideal for a broad range of dancefloors, in turn adding another weapon to your arsenal for the winter club season.
