Mariano Montori – Limitless [Dopamine Music]

The latest release on Nikko.Z's Dopamine Music welcomes Mariano Montori to the label for his debut single. The Argentinean artist has found a home on Lonya's Asymmetric Recordings this year with his 'Hurting Me' single. Also making considerable waves in the underground was Mariano's unofficial remix of David August's classic 'Epikur', which saw play from both Hernan Cattaneo and Nick Warren. Now presenting just his second original track of the year Mariano steps up to Dopamine Music with 'Limitless' alongside remixes from Erdi Irmak and Paul Deep.

Well known for his groovy, emotive brand of progressive house, Mariano has found that perfect balance yet again with 'Limitless'. Clocking in at eight magnificent minutes it's an expansive journey through warm grooves, fluid rhythms and exquisite melodies. Airy and playful in equal measure, the first act flows effortlessly, setting up the heavenly break. Timeless motifs and swirling atmospherics converge for an exhilarating crescendo, as the groove drops and you're carried closer to the heavens. A powerful yet elegant slice of progressive house from Mariano and perhaps one of his all time best.

The first interpretation of 'Limitless' is provided by Erdi Irmak who returns to the label for his third appearance. The Turkish artist last appeared on the Greek imprint in September of 2016 with a remix of 'What We Need' by Ezequiel Arias. Now fresh off releases on Just Movement, Magician On Duty and Soundteller Records, Erdi returns to Dopamine with a pure progressive rendition of 'Limitless'. Smooth yet galloping, it's buoyant groove immediately brings a vibrant bounce to the stereo spectrum. Organic drums, choppy percussion and timely effects then fill in framework before the symphonic lead themes steal your heart.

The second and final interpretation of 'Limitless' is provided by Paul Deep who is also making his third appearance on the label. Hailing from the progressive hotbed of Argentina Paul made his Dopamine debut in July of last year with the well received 'Consciousness State'. May of 2018 then saw The Argentine return to the label with a remix of 'Vision' by fellow countryman Nicolas Ruiz. Now following a strong EP for Twosounds Paul returns to Dopamine and closes the release out with a groovy take on 'Limitless'. On a bed of rolling bass comes crunchy electronics, wispy motifs and phasing vocals. Wonderfully open, the rhythmic hooks quickly grab a hold of you, leading to a one minute break which melts down to a gentle purr, before the pulsating groove drops for a magic moment. A smooth and exhilarating interpretation from Paul which rounds out a top shelf release from Nikko.Z's Dopamine Music once again.
